Welcome back to another cycle of Cage of Honor action. Unfortunately, I have to start out this cycles report

with some bad news. I’m not one to mince words so I have some things to say and will say it how I see fit. If

its edited, I’m sure you’ll see a blurred line or something but it’s to the point where I invest my time and

money into this so I’m addressing a couple situations how I see fit.

First we have the ruling of the 50 wrestler per fed cap, a ruling that came about because of a group of

managers that couldn’t handle how Matt Yunick and Gerald Robinson play. The Dash Fan Barbie Girl has at

times played with over 700 wrestlers, flooding federation after federation but since he’s not really that good

would produce mediocre numbers and eventually hit something good. Then you have Gerald Robinson who

was playing 300 in one fed and crushing it. He found the right people to help him with his numbers and won

big. So as the frustration mounted for IWA managers, some left Jade fed, others began to leave the game,

some simply emailed and complained. Eventually there was enough complaints and departures that action

was needed to be taken so the 50 wrestler per fed cap was put into place and takes effect next cycle. Now you

might ask how would these two mutts effect COH. Well as you might have noticed COH reached 7 leagues-

BOL,CSL,HLL,HWL, NPL, QPL, and VUL. Running those 7 leagues I had wrestlers in each and I am over 50

so I was forced to reduce my roster as well and this caused COH to have to cut ties with CSL,NPL, and QPL.

Some have asked why I can’t rearrange the wrestlers I have and drop some to stay in all 7 continuing the

COH Network with 7 leagues. My reply is simple, and the restructuring wouldn’t allow me to play how I like

so keeping all 7 wasn’t an option. This was a difficult decision as CSL has been part of the COH Network on

and off for 8 years, a lot of time and effort in the cards, tournaments, and commissioners championships out

the window. At the same time the league is on life support for most of the year so it could close though major

rumor floating around is TAMMY Tastic is headed there this cycle. NPL and QPL are two other league

floating around that 15-20 mark for cards and though I was enjoying setting up COH Japan it seemed like

more work was being done for two leagues I couldn’t guarantee would see 2021. Again it’s a shame but time

to move forward and do what I can for BOL,HLL,HWL, and VUL.

The next issue has to do with BOL. I’ve officially opened the league for transfers for two reasons, 1st was I had

several managers ask me about the league at least 6 or 7, the 2nd was due to consolidating leagues from the 50

wrestler cap. There was a vote on this, it passed 4-2 but one of the managers who voted no, IWA Cyber Bully

Zach Gargus did what he does best causes a seen on the IWA Dungeon and for what, just to bring negativity.

I could see if he was vocal in doing something positive in the league that would be different but no trash talk,

no involvement in COH, he doesn’t even like the league but just wants to complain because that’s what he

does. FYI, had the vote been shot down I told the IWA I’d leave the league and stick with QPL so there would

be no issue. But thanks for the negative light that you and the circle jerk you interact with on line brought

towards the league.

So, we started off somewhat sour but we still had a great card last cycle that leads us into Heat Scorcher this

cycle. With the cutback I had to restructure the event but it’s a solid show but before we get to that let’s see

what went down last cycle.

**America is the new COH Women’s World Champion and has brought the championship to VUL. Now its interesting as America goes to the PPV to

defend the Television Championship against Snake Charmer and Jasmyne will defend against Deadly Duo winner Brawlin Lynn Brosius. Definitely a historic moment for VUL and I look forward to seeing how the league responds to

having control of the COH Women’s World Championship.

**Mike Drake is the new Hardcore Champion and actually completes the grand slam being a Hardcore, National,

World Television, and World Champion. He will be defending the championship at the ppv match in the 6-pack challenge. So the plan with that match was the highest strat

wins World and now the 2nd highest leaves as Hardcore Champion as we’ll play it off as an elimination type style

match.

That wraps up the “go home’ tour leading into the ppv, Heat Scorcher. As I mentioned, I only posted results for the

leagues that remained part of COH. However we did have two matches that weren’t printed-

ICW National Championship- BOL Tama Tonga defeated NPL Phoenix to become the new champion.

-with this result, Tama will now look to unify the National and Main Event titles at Het Scorcher

COH North American Champion- HLL Hawkeye Science defeated CSl Little Liam Reinhard to become new champion.

-this will lead into another big match at Heat Scorcher, COH North American Champion Hawkeye Science v COH Extreme Champion Fugitive v Deathlok, triple threat unification match with the winner leaving as North

American Champion

Now we are into a ppv cycle and down to four leagues. My goal going forward is to give each league two shows and then have an interleague show either every cycle or every

other. This cycle I only needed to sign 3 interleague matches, one features the Headhunters v Good Brothers for the COh World Tag Team Championship. The only catch is the Headhunters signed with ONE Wrestling and the league is set to debut this cycle. If it does the match happens, if not

the Good Brothers will receive new opponents. Let’s see what we have in store for this cycle.

**The World Championship is on the line in a match featuring the top 6 wrestlers HWL has to offer. This is the way you end a ppv. I understand this is a champions nightmare but this is the way you add to your legacy as well!

So that in a nutshell is one hell of a ppv over 4 leagues. Wish it was 7 but we’re moving forward. Since we have a ppv cycle there will be no rankings but I have some news and a tournament announcement I want to address before we end the report.

AROUND THE NETWORK

**In bad news, I don’t believe ONE Wrestling is beginning just yet. This opens up the opportunity to possibly bring back COH Japan. We will be reaching out to NPL and QPL and look to bring one of the two leagues back.

**The tournaments I mentioned last cycle all began this cycle. If NPL or QPL is back in the mix, their tournament will begin next cycle. Personally, I’m leaning towards NPL

**This cycle the bad news trend is prominent. There was zero interest shown from Jade federation managers in doing a COH Iron v COH Jade. So I gave it a full cycle and have decided to scrap the IWA. Honestly COH Jade is lucky I haven’t scrapped that as well. The BOTW is a failing

concept cycle after cycle, plus no one wants to do the work

**Since the IWA set the 50 wrestlers limit I’ve opted out of a few leagues besides Iron, simply to take a step back. IGL was one of them so the Firing Squad angle is almost a done deal. Plus, I saw no mention in the IGL bulletin.

**Honestly that’s all I have right now. Fingers crossed ONE Wrestling can pull through and find a way to start this year. One League, 6 Federations is a unique concept. Plenty believed in the idea, I think the fed wrestler limit is a big cause for the delay. If you are interested send

you off this cycle, if you’re not scared to sign the match up. I will agree with you on one point; the uptick

in activity in the BOL is a mighty good thing. I’m glad COH has come to BOL. Tommy Statsko, the Major

Loser! You got lucky this past cycle, but don’t get to relying on luck, loser! William Wolfe Sr has spoken!

So the head dorks in charge wanna allow transfers to the BOL, well

you asked for it and your wish is my command! Not only have I

transferred some of my biggest records into the BOL, I will now

proceed to spend 1/4th of what I was spending and cards will start to

fall starting this cycle. Activity overall will die and this league will

never recover, so great move! I’ll never spend over $5 a month

here now and I’ll only sign league title matches and nothing else.
