Clack bottom stack distributors are designed primarily for use with top mount water softeners or f lter valves. The stack distributors are comprised of individual ABS segments which are held together with 18-8 stainless steel screws. The segmented stack has the ability to open up when backwashed, removing any f nes that might accumulate on the distributor. The standard slot size is .010 - .013. Clack bottom stack distributors are designed for use with 14" - 36" diameter f berglass mineral tanks with a 4" - 6" top openings. The bottom stack distributors are designed to accommodate a number of different size riser pipes which can be solvent welded or threaded directly into the stack. There is no stack distributor assembly required. To install, solvent weld or thread the riser pipe directly into the distributor and extend the distributor to the bottom of the mineral tank.

Stack Distributors for Side Mount ValvesThe stack distributor assemblies are designed to be used interchangeably as either top or bottom distributors. The distributor assemblies consist of a segmented stack distributor, 4”-8 adapter, and a 2” CPVC socket elbow or 6” Flange Adapter only. The segmented distributor has the ability to open up when backwashed, removing any possible f nes that might accumulate on the distributor. The top and bottom assemblies are designed for use with 14” - 36” diameter f berglass mineral tanks. Assembly is quick and simple. Installation is accomplished by simply threading or bolting on the complete distribution assembly directly in the top or bottom opening of the mineral tank.

Hub and Lateral Series for Top Mount ValvesClack top mount hub and lateral systems are designed primarily for use with top mount water softeners or f lter valves. The top mount hub and lateral series is designed to accommodate 14" - 36" diameter f berglass mineral tanks with 4" - 6" top openings. The top mount hub and lateral series consists of an ABS hub and 8-PVC slotted laterals with ¾" threaded adapters. The hub is available with a number of openings to accommodate different riser pipe diameters. To install, simply solvent weld or thread the riser pipe into the hub and insert it into the tank through the top opening. Thread the laterals into the hub and extend the hub and laterals to the bottom of the mineral tank.

The Clack top stack distributors, diffusers and baff e diffusers are designed to be used in conjunction with the Clack WS1.5, WS2 and WS2L, the GE Magnum CV™ and the Fleck 2850, 9500, 2900 and 3150 Control Valves. The stack and baff e diffusers are designed to diffuse or break up the inlet water f ow when the top stack distributor is not used. The top stack distributors, diffusers and baff e diffusers are designed to accommodate a 1.5", 50mm, 2" or 63mm PVC riser pipe. Installation is accomplished by simply pinning or screwing in the top stack distributor and diffuser or snapping the top baff e diffuser directly inside the control valve.

Clack hub and lateral distributor systems are designed specifi cally to fi t into a 4” bottom mineral tank opening eliminating the need for a 6” bottom hole where a greater possibility of leaks exist. The hub and lateral series is designed for use in 14” - 36” diameter fi berglass mineral tanks. The hub and lateral series consist of an ABS hub, eight (8) PVC slotted laterals with 3⁄4” threaded adapters, 4”-8 adapter and 2” CPVC socket elbow. Installation is quick and simple with the use of a 1⁄2” blind socket molded right into the top of the hub. For installation, simply thread a long 1⁄2” rod into the 1⁄2” blind socket in the hub, extend through the top of the tank to the bottom and thread the laterals into the hub from the bottom of the tank. After installing the 4”-8 adapter and threading the 2” CPVC socket elbow into the hub, simply unthread the 1⁄2” rod.
