According to bore-hole log, the top soil layers up to 4 meter, is a mixture of boulder CLAY or Silty Sandy CLAY with some Gravel. Due to lack of laboratory data and its test results, A conservative estimation of Soil bearing capacity can be made based on the bore-hole data and soil type. According to , Typical ultimate bearing capacities are 150 kN/m2 for soft clays, 300600 kN/m2 for firm clays and loose sands/ gravels, (firm to stiff boulder clay) and 10001500 kN/m2 for hard boulder clays and dense gravels.
