What if…
Emergency Procedures• Fire Drill – quickly and quietly leave the room
and exit building, proceed to the designated area
• Code Red – remain in room until “all clear” signal; stay away from windows
• Code Blue (Bomb Threat) – Do NOT use cell phones or other electronics; listen for announcements to evacuate
• Code Yellow (Hazmat) – remain indoors unless otherwise directed; keep doors and windows closed
• Code Green (Severe Weather/Tornado) – quickly and quietly leave room and assume the tornado position in the hall (facing the walls)
Grading…• Assignments – you will have
classwork and homework a few days per week
• Classwork and Homework will be checked for completion and accuracy
• You MUST have a minimum of 70% on classwork/homework assignments in order to take unit assessments (tests)
• Report card grade will be an average of unit/district and performance assessments
• All assessments will carry the same weight and be graded on a percentage system
• Mandatory if you receive BELOW a “C” on any assessment
• Optional if you receive a “C” or “B” on an assessment
• Tuesday’s during lunch – get your lunch and report to this classroom
• After two opportunities to re-test “A” through “D” – will stay as your grade “F” – lose an elective and attend Odyssey
lab until requirement is met

• There will be a prize for each student of the month.
