    The territorial jurisdictionof the Authority shallinclude all ports, seas,

    lakes, rivers and all

    other navigable inlandwaterways within the

    province of Cebu,the City of Cebu, and

    all other highly urbanizedcities which may be

    created after the enactment

    of R.A. 7621.

    The Governing Body of the Cebu Port Authority is the Cebu PortCommission

    • It is composed of the following:

    • Chairman  – DOTC Secretary or its designated Undersecretary

    • 6 Commissioners representing the following sectors:

    • Business (2 members)

    • Cargo Handling Labor (2 members)

    • Shipping (2 members)

    •  A Vice Chairman shall be elected from the 6 commissioners and at thesame time shall serve as the General Manager of the Authority

    PROJECT OVERVIEW 

    The Feasibility Study of the New CIP Projectpointed a location in Tayud, Consolacion,

    Cebu to be the project site.

    The Feasibility Study of the New CIP Projecthas been completed last July 2015 and

    submitted to DOTC.

    The Project is included in the Comprehensive and IntegratedInfrastructure Program (CIIP) on 11 April 2016.

    • Estimated Project Cost : ₱ 10 Billion• Implementation Period : 2017 – 2020

    • Financing : Official Development Assistance (ODA)

    Regional Development Council (RDC) – Central Visayas Regionthrough Resolution No. 55 (series of 2015) dated 11 December

    2015 has endorsed the Project for funding through ODA.• The feasibility study for the project, funded by the Korean Export-Import Bank,

    was completed in July 2015.

    NEDA is currently awaiting from DOTC thesubmission of requisite documents for the saidproject to facilitate NEDA Board-ICCprocessing/approval.

    • Requisite Documents include F/S, Investment CoordinationCommittee (ICC) Project Evaluation Forms

    The Project is scheduled for presentation to the DOTCSecretary for approval and subsequent endorsement tothe NEDA Board-ICC.
