ANNOUNCING T H E VACANT POSITIONS IN T H E DepED RO VI I

To: Schools Division Superintendents Officers-in-Charge of Schools Divisions All Others Concerned

1. This Office, through its Personnel Selection Board (PSB), announces the vacant positions of DepED Regional Office VII . Please see Enclosure 1.

2. Interested qualified applicants [only those who meet all the educational,

experience, training, and civil service eligibility requirements indicated in Enclosure 1) are directed to follow the procedure below:

2.1 Submit a scanned application letter for the specific vacant position/s as an attachment to an email to be sent via [email protected] on or before October 10, 2015. The subject of your message should be your last name and the position you are applying for.

2.2 Report to DepEd Regional Office VII for the Preliminary Evaluation by the PSB Secretariat, and Screening and Interview by the PSB on the same day of the scheduled date indicated in Enclosure 2 of this Memorandum. Bring wi th you four (4) folders [use of clear book is not allowed) of your pertinent documents [1 folder of the original documents and 3 folders of the

2.2.6 Certificates of Training/Seminars (at least 3-day duration) attended, including Scholarship Programs, Short Courses, Study Grants, and Chairmanship/Co-chairmanship in a Technical/ Planning committee

3. Applicants who have already submitted folders of pertinent documents to support their application are advised to get their folders for updating. Applicants who will retrieve their folders on the day of preliminary evaluation, screening, and interview will not be entertained anymore.

4. Important guidelines to adhere to during the preliminary evaluation, screening, and interview are the following:

4.1 The PSB Secretariat conducts Preliminary Evaluation (validating the

authenticity of photocopied documents by comparing them to the original

documents) wi th in an allotted time (8:00 A . M - 10:00 A.M.) on the scheduled date. Applicants who fail to arrive one (1) hour (9:00 A.M.) before the time is up wil l no longer be entertained and cannot proceed to the next step of the selection process.

4.2 Applicants wi th validated documents must proceed to the PSB on time because published scoring is done with all applicants present. Failure to come on specified time (an allowance of 15 minutes is given) invalidates an application.

4.3 The PSB, through its Secretariat, will notify the applicants only through email to give updates, such as changes in the schedule (at least two-day

difference in the new schedule from the original one). Hence, the applicants are advised to check their email addresses regularly. The PSB is free from any accountability if an applicant misses a schedule because of failure to check email updates.
