General: All lots included in this sale are submitted by members of the Launceston Philatelic Society Limited(LPS) as

being their own property, or from estates of past members, and are offered as genuine (unless otherwise described) and as

correctly described. We aim to describe lots accurately and the description includes illustrations of a lot or part of a lot

whether herein or on the internet.

These terms/conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Tasmania.

Reserves/Estimates: The fir st pr ice column is the reserve, which has been set by the vendor . Where the vendor has

left the reserve to us, we have indicated our estimate of reasonable market value in the second column. No lot will be sold

under the reserve and bids below will not be recorded. Unsold lots will remain available for purchase at reserve, (plus buyers

premium and any charges) for 30 days only after the sale date, and payment for same must be made in accordance with the

provisions below.

Bidding: the highest bid wins. If 2 or more bids are tied, the fir st received wins, unless the “increase my bids” option

on the bidding form is used. The winning bid will be at one bidding step above the 2nd highest bid. Bids not in line with bid-

ding steps will be rounded up to the next step. Prices are in Australian dollars, and all bids must be likewise.

The LPS reserves the right to refuse any bid from any person for any reason. An agent bidding on behalf of any undisclosed

person is personally liable for the purchase price and charges thereon including shipping.

Buyers: are liable to pay a 10% “Buyer ’s Premium” which will be added to the winning bid pr ice of all lots sold. Lots

are at the risk of buyers from the time of sale but property in them (ownership) does not pass until the LPS has received pay-

ment in full for them. Buyers are obliged to pay for their lots together with buyer’s premium, plus any postage, packaging

and insurance, immediately on receipt of invoice. Should a buyer not pay for any lot within 14 days of the date of invoice:
