4.5 Positionthesplicebodyoverconnectorarea,aligningendofthesplicebody(notthecore)atthecenterofthetapemarker.Slowlystarttoremovethesplicecorebypullingandunwindingtheloosecoreendcounterclockwise,allowingonly¼"(6mm)ofthesplicetoshrinkontothetapemarker.Carefullyslidethesplicebodyoffthetapemarkerbypullingandtwistinguntiltheentiretapemarkerisexposed.Continueremovingthecoretocompletethesplicebodyinstallation(Figure 16).
