WHAT IS SHARIA LAW? (a)

A system of political/religious beliefs.

Enforced by a fascist religious regime.

Strict code for govern’g Islam society.

Willed by Allah upon all, via Koran.

Impose by social-economic change or holy war (jihad).

WHAT IS SHARIA LAW? (b)

Complete: politics, society, economics.

Pure Sharia: all, w/ severe punishment.

Pure Sharia: Women’s rights limited.

contradicts Western & international law.

Enhances Islam and diminishes others.

Sharia Finance: A subset of Sharia law.

WHAT IS SHARIA LAW? (c)

Principles of Islam: basis for all law.

Non-believers: must submit to Islamic law.

All Laws of non-believers: must be replaced with Sharia (Islamic) law.

Ancient religious sites must be destroyed to prevent corruption. [CSPI, pp. 87]

WHAT IS SHARIA LAW? (d)

Non-Muslims may buy protection (jizya); I.e., submit to dhimmi status. [CSPI, pp. 87]

Host civilization will be completely taken over: (Art, literature, entertainment, law, history, names, customs, food, dress, language, education, etc.) [CSPI, pp. 95]

BASIC ELEMENTS OF SHARIA

Muslims: work for other Muslims only.

Muslim women: marry Muslim men.

No inheritance chain for non-Muslims.

Only Muslim-to-Muslim witnesses ok.

Flogging for false witness against Islam.

PURE SHARIA LAW

A strict form of Islamic law -- Hudud.

Fornication is punishable by stoning.

Drinking alcohol punishable by lashing.

Theft punishable by amputation.

Women: no skin, strictly enforced.

Saudi Arabia

-- a pure-Sharia Wahhabi state.

-- no other religions allowed.

-- Pure Sharia law is strictly enforced.

Nigeria

-- 50% Muslim, 40% Christian; w/Sharia.

-- Men & women must be segregated.

-- Women cannot ride with other men.

-- Women cannot work outside of home.

-- Women not equally protected.

Indonesia

-- 88 % Muslim, most not under Sharia.

-- Aceh Province: w/selected Sharia law.

-- Women cannot ride w/ men present.

-- Women cannot work outside of home.

-- Women: unequal protection under law.

-- Law: superficial; ignores deep probs.

SHARIA-COMPLIANT FINANCE (a) A way for Islam to influence other states.

Began in Saudi Arabia to leverage oil $.

Used to expand Islam to other states.

Western banks seek Sharia Compliance.

A way to legitimize illicit activities.

A hidden way to help us hurt ourselves.

SHARIA-COMPLIANT FINANCE (b)

All bank deals must be okd by Sharia Ex.

A 2.5% charitable contribution is reqd.

No illicit operations allowed.

Forbidden $ can be “purified” to charity.

Charities may then divert $ to illicit jihadi opns.

Sharia financiers carry a hidden agenda.

Sharia law/finance introduced gradually.

Islamic law takes over host country.

Sharia law/finance is “deep” in Europe.

It is spreading in USA.

Western bankers may be at great risk.

This world wide domination is to be accomplished in the first instance by persuasion. This is the effort to convert the infidels to Islam peacefully. If this does not work, the Muslim people or Ummah as a collective obligation, and according to some interpretations, as an individual one, are to wage Jihad or struggle to more forcefully persuade the infidels to convert. If persuasion is not effective, the Jihadists are to force the non-Muslims to submit to subjugation (known today as dhimmitude) [MSIAP, 2007]
