There nrn two important outcrop8 of coel in this field,
whhloh are dREl@afed on the plan as A and B. I enalose aoples
of the or068 sect-ion of these exposures t&Bon by myself lest
year.
I ~180 enclose heredth aop4 es of analyses of samples of
coal from the reapeatjve outcrops, whlah were made by the Cov-
ernmen t Assayer.

although not large 5n extent. The formation j R nearly all
sandstone with a aomparatlvely light cover, probably running
Prom 200 feet to 400 feet of saMetone over the aoal horizon.
The area is very slfghtly d!ntnrbeU, the preveiling dip :
being about ten levees to Magnetlo North.
Prom the limited nature of the outarops I aoala not very
