41 st Annual High School Mathematics Competition Part I Wednesday, October 23, 2019, 1:00–3:00 p.m. (actual test time for Part I is 75 minutes) Part II Wednesday, November 20, 2019, 1:00–3:00 p.m. For further information, and past exams, visit our web page at https://ter.ps/hsmath The three students with the highest composite scores on Parts I and II will win $500, $400, and $300, respectively. Among those completing both parts of the Competition, the highest scorer in each county of Maryland, in Baltimore City, and in the District of Columbia will receive a prize of $100. The top three overall scorers will be offered a scholarship for full tuition and expenses if and when they enroll as undergraduates in the University of Maryland (for non-seniors, this might be a few years from now). The competition is typically administered at the students’ high schools, and is free of charge. Interested students should contact their high school mathematics department chair for information on how to register.
