Engine and alternator close coupled via stubshaft and bellhousing. Silencedair intake filter, engine mounted sea water pump & water cooled exhaustsystem. Engine with forced oil lubrication system. Constant speed governingto BS649 Class A. All control circuitry wired and each set factory tested andsprayed in heat resistant white paint.2-Pole brushless water cooled syncronous alternator. Robust constructionwith cast aluminium outer shell, housing the stainless steel water coil.Excitation via an auxilliary winding and capacitor, inherently self regulating.Diodes prevent reverse current flow in order to allow flux build up. Stablevoltage output under inductive load. Dual flexible mounting system for bestreduction of structure born noise.

Attractively styled sound enclosure of substantial construction, combiningthe use of GRP and Balsa Wood. Weight sheets are laminated into the glassfibre structure to further improve acoustic performance. Noise reduction issubstantial, considering the small dimensions and low weight. Cocoonedsets incorporate all the necessary features to simplify installation.
