Purpose of the competition
• 1.1 OBJECTIVES OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS The objectives are to:
• a. Select the champion in each competition class on the basis of the pilot's performance in the tasks set;
• b. Foster friendship, co-operation and exchange of information among soaring pilots of all nations;
• c. Promote worldwide expansion of the public image of soaring;• d. Encourage technical and operational development of the sport;• e. Encourage the development of safe operational procedures, good
sportsmanship, and fairness in the sport of soaring.• SAFETY FIRST!
Procedures• We will keep it simple• Water filling • Pull out• Gridding -Remove cars-• Launching (self launchers)• Relanding• Opening of startline (Radio comm)• Outlanding• Finish Arrivals (long landing)• Tow out back to tie down area• FR delivery
Tie down Area• Put the glider as close
as possible to trailer• Caution: Do not cross
water pipeline and electricity cables
• Use own tubes to fill glider
• Pull out procedures• Please don’t park with
the cars on the taxi way
Weighing-Griding-Launching-Relanding• Reference mass shall
be controlled• Grid order published • Circling prohibited in
release area• Relanding: East strip• When the grid closes
please put all cars at the end of the grid

• Long landing, landing gear inside runway• On every flying day a fully equiped emergency
car is on the site during the launches and the arrivals
• Avoid the unnecessary communication during start. Radio check please before grid closing
• Hook on and run the wing: own crew• Self launching gliders can climb not higher than
700 m AGL during takeoff
Scorers’ remarks
• After releasing please switch the frequency to the sports committee frequency 122.700MHz
• We will use strong radio to announce line opening
