Welcome to Picture Hangman. It is a macro driven interactive PowerPoint presentation designed to help students learn the terms related to their area of study and their correct spelling through using a hangman style game.

To set it up you need to put the images to use in one folder and each image needs to be named according to what is to be input e.g. If the image is of an interactive whiteboard the file would be called Interactive Whiteboard.jpg.

If you have a sound enabled computer it is possible to use your own sounds so long as they are in wav file format. The folder containing the game presentation needs to contain a subfolder called Wrong containing the sound files for incorrect answers and another one called Correct containing the sound files for correct answers.

When the game starts you need to input the number of ‘Lives’ (incorrect guesses that the user can make when guessing a word).
