DEO 1. STA UCINITI PRE UPOTREBE UREDJAJA

Opšta upozorenjaUPOZORENJE: Držite bez opstrukcija otvore ventilacije koje se nalazeu okruženju uređaja ili u ugrađenu strukturu.UPOZORENJE: Ne koristiti mehaničke uređaje ili druge načine zaubrzavanje odleđivanja, osim preporučenih sa strane proizvođača.UPOZORENJE: Ne koristiti električne uređaje unutar odeljaka ovoguređaja, osim ako nisu od tipa preporučenog sa strane proizvođača.UPOZORENJE: Nemojte oštećivati rashladnog kola.UPOZORENJE: Kako bi izbegli opasnost zbog nestabilnosti uređaja,on mora se fiksirati u skladu sa instrukcijama.

• Ako model sadrzi R 600a (vidi plocicu na dnu frizidera) prirodnigas, koji nije stetan za okolinu ali treba obratiti paznju na njegovuzapaljivost. Kada se uredaj transportuje mora se paziti da ne dodedo ostecenja kondenzatora na poledini uredaja. Ukoliko dode doostecenja, izbeci dodir otvorenog plamena i provetriti prostorijunekoliko minuta.

• Ne čuvati eksplozivne stvari, kao limenke aerozola sa zapaljivimpropelentom, u ovom uređaju.

• Uređaj je namenjen domaćoj upotrebi i sličnim aplikacijama kaošto su:- Kuhinje u radnjama, kancelarijama i drugim radnim okolinama- Farme i sa strane klijenata u hotelima, motelima i druge

rezidencijalne okoline.- Okoline tipa noćenje sa doručkom- Ugostiteljstvo i slične nemaloprodajne namene

• Ukoliko šteker ne odgovara na utikač frižidera, mora biti zamenjensa strane proizvođača, njegovog servisnog agenta ili sličnokvalifikovane osobe kako bi se izbjegla opasnost.

• Ovaj uređaj nije namenjen upotrebi sa strane osoba (uključujući ideca) sa smanjenim fizičkim, senzornim il i mentalnimsposobnostima, ili bez iskustva i znanja, osim ukoliko nisu pod

nadzorom ili dobili su instrukcije oko upotrebe uređaja, date sa straneosobe odgovorne za njihovu bezbednost. Deca moraju se nadziratikako se ne bi igrala uređajem.

• Specijalno uzemljeni utikač je povezan na kabel frižidera. Taj utikačmora se koristiti sa specijalno uzemljenim štekerom od 16 ampera.Ukoliko nemate takvog štekera kod kuće, nek vam autorizovanielektričar instalira jedan.

• Ovaj uređaj se može koristiti sa strane dece veća od 8 godina i sastrane osoba sa smanjenim fizičkim, senzornim ili mentalnimsposobnostima ili sa nedostatka iskustva i znanja ukoliko te osobesu pod nadzorom ili su dobile instrukcije oko upotrebe uređaja nabezbedan način i razumeju povezane opasnosti. Deca se ne smejuigrati uređajem. Čišćenje i održavanje se ne sme obavljati sa stranedece bez nadzora.

• Ukoliko je napojni kabl oštećen, mora biti zamenjen sa straneproizvođača, njegovog servisnog agenta ili slično kvalifikovaneosobe kako bi se izbjegla opasnost.

•Ovaj uređaj nije namenjen za upotrebu na nadmorskim visinamavečim od 2000 m.

Uputstvo za sigurnu upotrebu• Ne upotrebljavati mehanicke alate ili druga sredstva da bi ubrzali proces odledivanja.• Ne upotrebljavati elektricne uredaje u prostoru za smestanje hrane.• Stari zamrzivaci I frizideri sadrze izolacione gasove i sredstva za hladenje koji moraju

biti propisno odlozeni. Odlaganje ovih uredaja treba poveriti ustanovama koje suodgovorne i kompetentne za to. Ukoliko Vam nesto nije jasno pozovite najblizi servis.

Simbol na proizvodu ili na njegovoj ambalaži označava, da se sa timproizvodom ne sme postupati kao sa otpadom iz domaćinstva. Umestotoga, proizvod treba predati odgovarajućim sabirnim centrima za reciklažuelektronskih I električnih aparata. Ispravnim odvoženjem ovog proizvoda sprečićete potencijalne negativne posledice na životnu sredine I zdravljeljudi, koji bi inače mogli biti ugroženi neodgovarajućim rukovanjemotpadom ovog proizvoda.

Za dobijanje detaljnih informacija o tretmanu, odbacivanju I ponovnom korišćenju ovogproizvoda, stupite u kontakt sa prikladnim lokalnim ustanovama, službom za sakupljanjekućnog otpada ili sa prodavnicom u kojoj ste kupili ovaj proizvod.

Preporuke• Ne upotrerbljavati ispravljace koji mogu da izazovu pregrejavanje

i pozar na uredaju.• Ne koristiti stare, deformisane elektricne kablove.• Ne savijajte i ne guzvajte kablove

• Ne dozvoljavajte deci da igraju sa uredajem ili da sede na vratimauredaja.

• Ne upotrebljavati ostre predmete za skodanje leda sa zidovauredaja; oni mogu da ostete kondenzator i da naprave kvarovekoje je nemoguce popraviti.

• Ne prikljucujte uredaj na mrezu mokrim rukama.• Ne ostavljajte posude napunjene tecnostima, posebno gasovima

u zamrzivacu jer bi mogle da popucaju.• Flase koje sadrze tecnosti sa visokim sadrzajem alkohola moraju

biti dobro zatvorene i postavljene uspravno.

• Ne dodirujte hladne povrsine mokrim rukama jer moze doci do povreda.• Nemojte jesti led koji je izvaden iz zamrzivaca.

Instaliranje I pustanje uredaja u rad• Uredaj radi pri naponu od 220-240 V ili 200-230 V i 50 Hz.• U slucaju da Vam treba pomoc pri instaliranju I ukljucivanju uredaja pozovite servis.• Pre nego sto prikljucite uredaj na mrezu podesite da napon na uredaju bude jednak

naponu mreze.• Za prikljucivanje uredaja na mrezu koristite uticnice sa uzemljenjem. Ako nemaju

uzemljenje ili ne odgovaraju, savetujemo da pozovete servis.• Uticnica bi trebalo da bude dostupna nakon pravilnog postavljanja uredaja.• Proizvodac nije odgovoran za ostecenja koja nastanu kao

posledica nepravilnog uzemljenja.• Ne postavljati uredaj direktno na suncevu svetlost.• Ne drzati uredaj na otvorenom I ne izlagati ga uticaju vlage.• Uredaj postaviti daleko od izvora toplote i u prostoriju koja se

dobro provetrava. Uredaj treba da bude udaljen najmanje 50cm od radijatora, peci na gas ili ugalj i 5 cm od elektricnih peci.

• Ne postavljajte teske predmete na uredaj.• Ako je uredaj postavljen pored drugog zamrzivaca ili frizidera

minimalno rastojanje izmedu njih treba da bude 2 cm da nebidoslo do kondenzacije.

• Ne stavljajte vrele posude ili hranu na uredaj jer se moze ostetitigornja ploca.

• Postavite plasticne stitnike na kondenzator uredaja da biobezbedili bolji rad uredaja.

• Uredaj mora biti postavljen na ravnu podlogu. Upotrebite dve prednje nozice zapodesavanje da nivelisete uredaj.

• Spoljasnost uredaja I ladice trebalo bi cistiti rastvorom vode i tecnog sapuna;unutrasnjost uredaja sa sodom bikarbonom rastvorenom u mlakoj vodi.

Sta treba uciniti pre ukljucenja• Sacekajte 3 sata posle prikljucenja na mrezu da se uverite u

ispravnost uredaja.• Prilikom prvog ukljucenja uredaja moze se pojaviti neprijatan miris.

Taj miris nestaje kada uredaj pocinje da hladi.

DEO 2. RAZNE FUNKCIJE I MOGUCNOSTI

Podesavanje termostata

Termostat automatski regulise temperaturu unutar uredaja. Temperaturu mozete regulisatipomocu prekidaca sa podeocima od 1 do 5.Važna napomena: Ne rotirati dugme manje od poziciju 1, jer to će ugasiti uređaj.

• Za hranu koju je potrebno hladiti u kracem vremenskom periodu podesite prekidacizmedu 1 i 3.

• Za hranu koju je potrebno hladiti u duzem periodu podesite prekidac izmedu 3 i 4.• Upozorenje: sobna temperatura, temperatura hrane i frekvencija otvaranja vrata

uredaja uticu na temperaturu unutar uredaja.• Pri prvom ukljucenju uredaja trebao bi da radi 24 h konstantno da bi postigao

zeljenu temperaturu.• Za vreme 24 h ne treba cesto otvarati vrata I ne treba stavljati puno hrane u uredaj.• Ako je uredaj iskljucen, narednih 5 minuta ne treba ga ukljucivati kako se nebi

ostetio kompresor.Upozorenja za postavke temperature

• Ne preporučuje se da frižider radi u okolinama hladnijim od 10C zbog efikasnosti.• Postavke termostata moraju se postaviti uzimajući u obzir frekvencija otvoranje vrata,

količina hrane u okolini gde se frižider nalazi.• Vaš frižider mora raditi i do 24 h bez prekida nakon uključenja u struju kako bi se

kompletno ohladio. Ne otvarati vrata mnogo često i ne postavljati mnogo hranetokom ovog perioda.

• Uređaj ima zaštitnu funkciju od 5 minuta koja sprečava oštečenja kompresora frižidera,kada se uključuje i isključuje utikač ili kada ima prekid struje. Uređaj počinje normalnimradom nakon 5 minuta.

• Vaš frižider je namenjen radu na intervalima sobnih temperatura naznačene ustandardima, u skladu sa klasom klime navedenoj na informacionoj oznaci. Nepreporučuje se da frižider radi u okolinama koje nisu u napisanim intervalima, zbogefikasnost hlađenja.

• Ova oprema je dizajnirana za upotrebu kod temperaturu okoline od 16°C - 32°C.

Posuda za led• Napunite posudu za led I stavite u zamrzivac• posto se led formirao okrenite posudu I dobice te kocke leda

Dodaci

Frizider• Da biste smanjili vlaznost nikada ne ostavljajte tecnost u nezatvornim posudama.

Led se najcesce pojavljuje u najhladnijim delovima isparivaca i vremenom moratesve cesce da odmrzavate uredjaj.

• Nikada ne ostavljajte toplu hranu u uredjaj. Toplu hranu treba ohladiti na sobnojtemperaturi.

• Rasporedite hranu tako da ne dodiruje zadnji zid uredjaja da ne bi mogla da sezaledi. Ne otvarajte cesto vrata uredjaja.

• U uredjaj mozete staviti meso i ociscenu ribu (upakovanu u plasticnu ambalazu)koju cete iskoristiti za dan dva.

• U odeljak mozete staviti voce i povrce neupakovano.Zamrzivac

• Zamrzivac sluzi za duboko zamrzavanje, zamrzavanje hrane i pravljenje leda. Neostavljajte toplu hranu u zamrzivac. Ne ostavljajte toplu i svezu hranu zajedno sazamrznutom hranom u zamrzivac. Svezu hranu koju zamrzavate podelite u vise delova.

• Za ostavljanje zamrznute hrane pridrzavajte se obavestenja koja su napisana napakovanju smrznute hrane , a ako uputstva nema takvu hranu ne treba zamrzavati ilicuvati duze od 3 meseca od datuma proizvodnje. Kada kupujete smrznutu hranuuverite se da je smrznuta na propisan nacin i da je pakovanje neosteceno.

• Zamrznuta hrana treba da bude odgovarajuce upakovana i treba je sto pre vratiti uzamrzivac nakon vadjenja iz njega. Ako se na pakovanju stvaraju kapljice vode moguceje da da pakovanje nije ispravno ili da je hrana pokvarena.

• Vreme potrebno za zamrzavanje odredjene hrane zavisi od sobne temperature,podesenosti temperature, frekvencije otvaranja vrata, vrste hrane. Uvek slediteuputstva istaknuta na pakovanju hrane.

DEO 3. NACIN ODLAGANJA HRANE

Plasti ni � struga

� � �Nakon odre enog perioda na odre enim mestima u frižideru e� �do i do stvaranja leda. Led, koji se sakuplja u zamrziva u treba

� �povremeno uklanjati. Koristite plasti ne struga e priložene, popotrebi. Nemojte da koristite oštre predmete za ovu aktivnost. Oni

�mogu da probuše kolo frižidera i izazovu nepovratno ošte enjejedinice.

DEO 4. CISCENJE I ODRZAVANJE

• Iskljucite uredjaj sa mreze pre ciscenja

• Prilikom ciscenja ne sipajte vodu u uredjaj

• Frizider treba cistiti periodicno upotrebljavajuci sodu bikarbonui mlaku vodu

• Ladice cistiti posebno sa vodom i sapunom i nikakou masini za pranje

• Ne koristite abrazivne proizvode, detergente I slicno. Posle pranjaisperite cistom vodom i pazljivo osusite.

• Kondenzator bi trebalo cistiti najmanje dva puta godisnjeda bi ste poboljsali performance uredjaja.

OdledjivanjeFrizider:

• Odledjivanje se vrsi automatski tokom rada frizidera, a odledjena voda se sakulja uposebnu posudu i automatski isparava.

• Posudu za skupljanje otopljene vode I ispust za njeno oticanje povremeno trebaocistiti da ne bi doslo do zapusenja ispusta I sakupljanja vode na dnu frizidera.

• Mozete takodje da sipate 1/2 case vode u ispust da bi ga lakse ocistili iznutra.

Zamrzivac:Led koji se povremeno sakuplja u zamrzivacu treba s vremena na vreme skidati (Koristiteplasticnu lopaticu). Zamrzivac treba cistiti na isti nacin kao I frizider, najmanje dva putagodisnje.U tu svrhu treba:

• Dan ranije treba postaviti termostat u “S” poziciju da bi ste kompletno zamrzli hranu.• Tokom odmrzavanja, zamrznutu hranu treba staviti u papirne kese I cuvati na hladnom

mestu. Tu hranu treba iskoristi sto pre.• Postavite termostat u poziciju “•” ili iskljucite uredjaj. Treba otvoriti sirom vrata kako bi

se zamrzivac potpuno odledio.• Da bi ste ubrzali proces odmrzavanja mozete sataviti nekoliko sudova sa toplom

vodom u zamrzivac.• Osusite unutrasnjost zamrzivaca I postavite termostat u poziciju “MAX”

Zamena sijalice

Da bi zamenili sijalicu u frizideru treba da:1. Iskljucite uredaj sa mreze2. Pritisnete zabice sa strane zastitnog stakla sijalice I uklonite ga.3. Zamenite staru sijalicu novom, ne jacom od 15 W4.Vratite zastitno staklo i posle 5 min ukljucite uredaj.

DEO 5. TRANSPORT I PREMESTANJE UREDJAJA

• Originalno pakovanje i pena se mogu sačuvati za ponovni transport (po želji).• Morate pričvrstiti frižider u debelom

pakovanjem , lente ili jake vrpce i slediteinstrukcije za transport koje se nalaze naambalaži.

• Uklonite podvižne delove (police, dodatke,fioke, etc.) ili ih pričvrstite trakama tokomtransporta ili novog pozicioniranja.

Prevozite frižider uspravno.

Promena položaja vrata• Nije moguće promeniti smer otvaranja vrata frižidera ko su ručke na bratima

postavljene na prednjoj površini vrata.• Moguće je promeniti smer otvaranja vrata na modelima bez drške.• Ako se smer otvaranja vrata na vašem frižideru može promeniti, treba da kontaktirate

najbliži ovlašćeni servis da biste promenili smer otvaranja vrata.

Zamena LED lampeAko vaš frižider poseduje LED lampu, obratite se korisnièkoj službi jer nju treba da zameniiskljuèivo ovlašæeno osoblje.

DEO 6. STA UCINITI PRE NEGO STO POZOVETE SERVIS

Ako uredaj ne funkcionise:Proverite:

• Da li ima dovoda struje• Da li je glavni kucni osigurac iskljucen• Da li je termostat podesen na “•“• Da li je ispravna uticnica. Da bi ste ovo proverili prikljucite neki uredaj za koji znate da

radi na tu uticnicu.

Ako uredaj slabo radi:Proverite:

• Da li ste prepunili uredaj• Da li su vrata dobro zatvorena• Da li ima prasine na kondenzatoru• Da li ima dovoljno prostora iza I oko uredaja

Ako uredaj radi bucno: Gas koji cirkulise uredajem moze da pravi odredeni zvuk cak i kada kompresor neradi. To je normalno i ne treba da Vas brine. Medutim, ako je ovaj zvuk jak proverite:

• Da li je uredaj dobro nivelisan• Da li nesto dodiruje poledinu uredaja

Ako ima vode na dnu uredajaProverite:Da li je ispust za vodu zapusen.Preporuke

• Ukoliko nećete koristiti frižider tokom dužeg perioda (na pr. Tokom godišnjeg odmora),isključite ga iz struje. Počistite frižider kao što je opisano u Deo 4 I ostavite vrataotvorena da biste sprečili vlagu i loš miris.

• Ukoliko problem još postoji nakon što ste uradili sve što je opisano iznad, molimoobratiti se najbližem servisu.

• Uređaj koji ste kupili namenjen je domaćoj upotrebi I može se jedino koristiti kodkuće i za navedene svrhe. Nije pogodan za komercijalne ili opšte svrhe. Ukolikomušterija koristi proizvod na način koji nije u skladu sa ovim odlikama, naglasujemoda proizvođač I trgovac neće biti odgovorni za bilo koji popravak ili kvar tokom periodagarancije.

• Život vašeg aparata naznačeni i proglašeni sa strane Ministarstva za industriju je 10godina (period tokom kojeg se čuvaju delovi neophodni za pravilni rad aparata).

Saveti za uštedu energije1– Instalacija aparata u hladnu prostoriju sa dobrom ventilacijom, koja nije izložena

direktnoj sunčevoj svetlosti i koja se ne nalazi blizu izvora toplote (radijator,šporet...itd.). U suprotnom koristite izolacionu ploču.

2– Pustite da se hrana i piće ohlade van uređaja.3– Kada otapate zamrznutu hranu, stavite je u odeljak frižidera. Niska temperatura

zamrznute hrane će pomoći da se odeljak frižidera hladi tokom odmrzavanja. Timese štedi energija. Ako se zamrznuta hrana ostavi napolje, time se gubi energija.

Installing and operating your fridgeBefore starting to use your fridge, you should pay attention to the following points:

• Operating voltage for your fridge is 220-240 V at 50Hz.• We do not take the responsibility of the damages that occur due to ungrounded

usage.• Place your fridge in a place that it would not be exposed to direct sunlight.• Your appliance should be at least 50 cm away from stoves, Gas

ovens and heater cores, and should be at least 5 cm away fromelectrical ovens.

• Your fridge should never be used outdoors or left under the rain.• When your fridge is placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at

least 2 cm between them to prevent humidity on the outer surface.• Do not place anything on your fridge, and install your fridge in a

suitable place so that at least 15 cm is available on the upper side.• The adjustable front legs should be adjusted to make sure your appliance is level

and stable. You can adjust the legs by turning them clockwise (or in the oppositedirection). This should be done before placing food in the fridge.

• Before using your fridge, wipe all parts back with warm wateradded with a tea spoonful of sodium bicarbonate, and thenrinse with clean water and dry. Place all parts after cleaning.

• Install the plastic distance guide (the part with black vanes at therear) by turning it 90° as shown in the figure to prevent thecondenser from touching the wall.

• Refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free distance not exceeding 75mm.

Before Using your Fridge• When it is operated for the first time or after transportation, keep

your fridge in the upright position for 3 hours and plug it on toallow efficient operation. Otherwise, you may damage thecompressor.

Thermostat Setting

Thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator compartmentand freezer compartment.By rotating the knob from position 1 to 5, colder temperaturescan be obtained.Important note: Do not try to rotate knob beyond 1 position it will stop your appliance.

• For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knobbetween 1 and 3 position.

• For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set knop 3-4position.

Note that ; the ambient temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how oftenthe door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Ifrequired,change the temperature setting.

• It is not recommended that you operate your fridge in environments colder than 10°Cin terms of its efficiency.

• The thermostat setting should be done by taking into consideration how often thefresh food and freezer doors are opened and closed, how much food is stored in therefrigerator, and the environment in which the refrigerator is located.

• Your fridge should be operated up to 24 hours according to the ambient temperaturewithout interruption after being plugged in to be completely cooled. Do not opendoors of your fridge frequently and do not place much food inside it in this period.

• A 5 minute delaying function is applied to prevent damage to the compressor of yourfridge, when you take the plug off and then plug it on again to operate it or when anenergy breakdown occurs. Your fridge will start to operate normally after 5 minutes.

• Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in thestandards, according to the climate class stated in the information label. It is notrecommended that your fridge is operated in the environments which are out of thestated temperature intervals in terms of cooling efficiency.

Plastic scraperAfter a period of time, frost will build up in certain areas in the freezercompartment. The frost, accumulated in the freezer, should be removedperiodically. Use the plastic scraper provided if necessary. Do not usesharp metal objects for this operation. They could puncture therefrigerator circuit and cause irreparable damage to the unit.

PART - 3. ARRANGING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCERefrigerator Compartment

• To reduce humidity and consequent increase of frost never place liquids in unsealedcontainers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of theevaporator and in time will require more frequent defrosting.

• Never place warm food in the refrigerator. Warm food should be allowed to cool atroom temperature and should be arranged to ensure adequate air circulation in therefrigerator compartment.

• Nothing should touch on the back wall as it will cause frost and the packages canstick on the back wall. Do not open the refrigerator door too frequently.

• Arrange the meat and cleaned fish(wrapped in packages or sheets of plastic) whichyou will use in 1-2 days,in the bottom section of the refrigerator compartment(that isabove the crisper) as this is the coldest section and will ensure the best storingconditions.

• You can put the fruits and vegetables into crisper without packing.

Freezer Compartment• The use of freezer is, storing of deep-frozen or frozen foods for long periods of time

and making ice cubes.• To freeze fresh food, ensure that as much of the surface as possible of food to be

frozen is in contact with the cooling surface.• Do not put fresh food with frozen on side by side as it can thaw the frozen food.• While freezing fresh foods(i.e meat,fish and mincemeat), divide them in parts you will

use in one time.• Once the unit has been defrosted replace the foods into freezer and remember to

consume them in as short period of time.• Never place warm food in the freezer compartment. As it will disturb the frozen foods.• For storing the frozen foods;the instructions shown on frozen food packages should

always be followed carefully and if no information is provided food should not bestored for more than 3 months from the purchased date.

• When buying frozen foods ensure that these have been frozen at suitabletemperatures and that the packing is intact.

• Frozen foods should be transported in appropriate containers to maintain the qualityof the food and should be returned to the freezing surfaces of the unit in the shortestpossible time.

• If a package of frozen food shows the sign of humidity and abnormal swelling it isprobable that it has been previously stored at an unsuitable temperature and thatthe contents have deteriorated.

• The storage life of frozen foods depends on the room temperature, thermostat setting,how often the door is opened, the type of food and the length of time required totransport the product from the shop to your home. Always follow the instructionsprinted on the package and never exceed the maximum storage life indicated.

Not that; if you want to open again immediately after closing the freezer door, it will not beopened easily. It’s quite normal! After reaching equilibrium condition, the door will beopened easily.

PART - 4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Make sure to unplug the fridge before starting to clean it.

• Do not wash your fridge by pouring water onto it.

• You can wipe the inner and outer sides of your appliance with asoft cloth or a sponge using warm and soapy water.

• Clean the accessories separately with soap andwater Do not clean them in the washing machine.

• Never use flammable, explosive or corrosive material like thinner,gas, acid for cleaning.

• The condenser (the back part with black wings) shouldbe cleaned using a vacuum cleaner or a dry brush atleast once a year. This will help your fridge to operatemore efficiently and save energy.

Defrosting

Refrigerator Compartment;

• Defrosting occurs automatically in refrigerator compartment during operation ; thedefrost water is collected by the evaporating tray and evaporates automatically.

• The evaporating tray and the defrost water drain hole should be cleaned periodicallywith defrost drain plug to prevent the water from collecting on the bottom of therefrigerator instead of flowing out.

• You can also pour 1/2 glass of the water to drain hole to clean inside.Freezer Compartment;The frost, accumulated in the freezer compartment, should be removed periodically. (Usethe plastic scraper provided) The freezer compartment should be cleaned in the way asthe refrigerator compartment, with the defrost operations of the compartment at leasttwice a year.For this;

• The day before you defrost, set the thermostat dial to “5” position to freeze the foodscompletely.

• During defrosting, frozen foods should be wrapped in several layers of paper andkept in a cool place. The inevitable rise in temperature will shorten their storage life.Remember to use these foods within a relatively short period of time.

• Set thermostat knob to position “•” or unplug the unit; leave the door open untilcompletely defrosted.

• To accelerate the defrosting process one or more basins of warm water can beplaced in the freezer compartment.

• Dry the inside of the unit carefully and set the thermostat knob to MAX position.

Transportation and changing of installation position• Original package and foam may be kept for re-transportation (optionally).• You should fasten your fridge with thick package, bands or strong cords and follow

the instructions for transportation on the package for re-transportation.• Remove movable parts (shelves,

accessories, vegetable bins etc.) or fixthem into the fridge against shocks usingbands during re-positioning andtransportation.

Carry your fridge in the upright position.

Replacing LED LightingIf your refrigerator has LED lighting contact the help desk as this should be changed byauthorized personnel only.

Replacing The Light Bulb

To replace the bulb in freezer and fridge departments;1- Unplug your fridge.2- Remove the cover of the box from the claws using a screwdriver.3- Replace with a bulb of maximum 15 Watts.4- Install the cover.5- Wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging and bring the thermostat to its original position.

Repositioning the door• It is not possible to change the opening direction of your fridge door, if the door

handles on your fridge are installed from the front surface of the door.• It is possible to change the opening direction of the door on models without any

handles.• If the door opening direction of your fridge may be changed, you should contact the

nearest Authorised Service to have the opening direction changed.

PART - 6. BEFORE CALLING YOUR AFTER SALES SERVICEIf your refrigerator is not working properly,it may be a minor problem, therefore check thefollowing, before calling an electrician to save time and money.

What to do if your refrigerator does not operate ;Check that ;

• There is no power ,• The general switch in your home is disconnected ,• The thermostat setting is on “•” position ,• The socket is not sufficient. To check this, plug in another appliance that you know

which is working into the same socket.

What to do if your refrigerator performs poorly ;Check that ;

• You have not overloaded the appliance ,• The doors are closed perfectly ,• There is no dust on the condenser ,• There is enough place at the rear and side walls.

If there is noise ; The cooling gas which circulates in the refrigerator circuit may make a slightnoise(bubbling sound) even when the compressor is not running. Do not worry this isquite normal. If these sounds are different check that ;

The appliance is well levelled ,• Nothing is touching the rear.• The stuffs on the appliance are vibrating.

If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator ;Check that ;The drain hole for defrost water is not clogged(Use defrost drain plug to clean the drainhole)

Recommendations• While power cut, to prevent any compressor problem you should plug out the

refrigerator. You should delay plugging in 5 – 10 minutes after you power supply. Ifyou plug out the refrigerator for a reason you should wait at least 5 min to replug. It isimportant for avoiding damage to refrigerator’s components.

• The cooling unit of your refrigerator is hidden in the rear wall. Therefore, water dropletsor icing may occur on the rear surface of your fridge due to the operation of thecompressor in specified intervals. This is normal. There is no need to perform adefrosting operation unless the icing is excessive.

• If you will not use your fridge for a long time (e.g. in summer holidays), put thethermostat to “•” position. After defrosting, clean your fridge and leave the door opento prevent humidity and smell.

Tips For Saving Energy1– Install the appliance in a cool, well ventilated room , but not in direct sunlight and

not near heat source (radiator, cooker.. etc). Otherwise use an insulating plate.2– Allow ward food and drinks to cool down outside the appliance.3– When thawing frozen food, place it in the refrigerator compartment. The low tem-

perature of the frozen food will help to cool the refrigerator compartment when it isthawing. So it causes energy saving. If the frozen food is put out, it causes wastageof energy.

4– When placing, drinks and slops they must be covered. Otherwise humidity in-creases at the appliance. Therefore the working time gets longer. Also coveringdrinks and slops helps to save smell and taste.

5– When placing food and drinks, open the appliance door as briefly as possible.6– Keep close the covers of any different temperature compartment in the appliance

(crisper, chiller ...etc ).7– Door gasket must be clean and pliable. Replace gaskets if worn.
