Coach Pulls WoollOver Fan's Eyes
By Don ShroyerIt certainly looks as if Ram
Coach llans Wiedenhoefer has
been pulling the wool (in this case
his red and white polka dot cry.ing tovel that is) over the eyes ofFresno Junior College fans.
For two weeks prior to the LosAngeles Valley Junior College tilt,'Wiedenhoefer had been crying "weain't got nothln' and they're load-
ed." He rattled off a list a mile longof the prep stars appearint on theLÄ roster and never said muchabout his own team except that Mil-lard. Hampton wasn't going to play.(He enrolled Monday).
I for one feel Wiedenhoefershould be very proud of hiúselfand his team. for he fieldeal one ofthe smoothest functioning outfitsI've seen in football in a long time.-WiecÌenhoefer has done to thatgroup of fellows exactly what wasintended to be done to a footballteam prior to the platoon systemin football.
There were no individual stars;it was everybody for everybodyelse. Johnny Souza couldn't havemade those beautiful runs if theline hadn't opened a hole in tbeline big enough to drive a truckthrouth.
