About The MeetingThis course is designed to address current topics in neuroimaging and the clinical management of neurological disease. A review of techniques and indications for imaging will be discussed. Emphasis is placed on the role of imaging in stroke, tumor, infections, metabolic disease, degenerative disease and trauma affecting the central nervous system. In addition to technical considerations, state of the art and future applications for imaging the spine and brain will be presented. Also included is a neurosurgeon’s perspective on the use of imaging for neurological disorders and how imaging can influence patient management.

The purpose of this program is to improve the attendees’ diagnostic skills in neuroradiology and expand clinical knowledge of conditions affecting the central nervous system.

Target AudienceThis program is designed for practicing radiologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons who interpret or rely on imaging studies for the evaluation of neurological disorders. It will benefit physicians who clinically manage patients with neurological disorders and traumatic injuries to the central nervous system. Radiologic technologists who perform these types of procedures will also find the program beneficial.
