An automotive production line never stops (!)

2 printing stations (Primary and Backup)

Components need to support label rolls with 2000 labels – only one exchange per shift is possible

In that case the backup printer is active

Printer needs to check RFID label and jump over to next if there is a fault

Applicator takes RFID label and initializes it and place it on the window of the car

Results

We chose an Avery Denisson printer plus applicator and customized both to achieve FORDs requirements
