Accelerator Pitching
· Top-notch accelerators whose specialty in providing mentorship and marketing
consultation for global startup businesses such as 500 Startups, TiE (America, Asia),
SAUNA (Europe) will be invited to introduce their organization and accelerator program
·1:1 pitching will be arranged for those who registered in advance
Hi-Tech Idea Competition
· A competition for discovering innovative and creative ideas of young entrepreneurs and
startup businesses
· College entrepreneurship clubs, young entrepreneurs and startup companies can
participate in the competition
· Detailed concept and programs to enter the competition will be noticed on website
Special Seminar on Overseas Expansion Strategies
· The special seminar introduces unique characteristics and precautions when SMEs
enter into new overseas markets
· Speakers from KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), WTA member
countries and buyers deliver practical lessons for SMEs
· Group discussions for different sectors and technologies will be conducted

2. Program (Tentative)
The WTA Daejeon Hi-Tech Fair and Business Conference serves as an international platform at which
participants exchange and share knowledge in the sector of science and technology.
Under the theme of “Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Development”, the 13th Hi-Tech Fair is
designed to showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions in a partnership with domestic and
international companies, universities as well as WTA members for providing supports to SMEs and startup
companies. Join us and make a change in the world by enabling innovative technologies for sustainable
development!
* What is “Sustainable Development”?
Sustainable development considers social, economic and environmental factors as three main pillars of development
to fulfill the needs of current generation without compromising those of future generation. In September 2015, a final
proposal of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) unanimously adopted to incorporate such ideas at the UN
summit.
