AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONTO U-TUBE DESIGN
The plate and shell concept is only available with dimpled plates. It isan economical alternative to Heatex welded plate heat exchangerfor solvent condensers, top-column condensers and gas coolers.
It ingeniously combines the efficiency of the welded plate heat exchanger
and the reliability of the shell and tubes. A dimpled plate pack is mountedinto a cylindrical shell. Materials can be stainless steel and nickel alloys.
