The International Green Building Conference (IGBC), an anchor event of the Singapore Green Building Week (SGBW), will bring together thought leaders, government officials, policy-makers and a notable spectrum of stakeholders – industry, students and end-users from over 50 countries. They will discuss and share their vision of a more sustainable built environment, through topics structured around this year’s theme – “Build Green: The Next Decade”.
Organised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore with strategic partners, the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) and Reed Exhibitions, the 3-day conference is the premier platform for learning and sharing of innovative solutions, as well as forging new partnerships.

This workshop provides a detailed introduction to the GM RB: 2016. Building upon GM NRB: 2015, and leveraging on more than 10 years of experience, GM RB: 2016 is the latest version of BCA's green building rating tool for new residential buildings. This new Green Mark scheme assesses the outcomes of the residential building design processes and ultimately align themselves with best corporate practices. It also brings the focus of sustainability into the early stages of project development, through the construction phase, and finally the building operations stage.

ABOUTThe Organiser
Strategic Partner
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore champions the development of an excellent built environment for Singapore. BCA’s mission is to shape a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment, as these are four key elements where BCA has a significant influence. In doing so, it aims to differentiate Singapore’s built environment from those of other cities
The Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) was officially launched on 28 October 2009, as the only non-profit organisation with a concerted private-public sector partnership to achieve a world-class and sustainable built-environment in Singapore. Our key role is to advocate green building design, practices and technologies and drive environmental sustainability in the building and construction industry.
and contribute to a better quality of life for everyone in Singapore. Hence, its vision is to have "a future-ready built environment for Singapore". Together with its education arm, the BCA Academy, BCA works closely with its industry partners to develop skills and expertise that help shape a future-ready built environment for Singapore.
