WELCOME TO THE

BRIDGE 2018

Leadership Behaviors forged over the last century need updation for the

Digital age. Recent research reveals three key roles for leadership as data,

Artificial Intelligence, algorithms and the science of "meaning making"

dominate business for the foreseeable future. The center for the future of

work, in partnership with oxford Economics, conducted in-depth, qualitative

interviews with top business leaders and the insights from these discussions

with executives across a range of industries with differing degrees of digital

maturity provide clear direction on how leaders can marshal their

organization into the future. So all-encompassing are the changes that it is

an imperative for every student, teacher, and corporate executive to

prepare them for a digital future that is rapidly unfolding. Thanks to the

same technology, it is now possible for a platform like ICT Academy to lead

the change, equip young minds, prepare the needed capability and build

capacity for the digital era.

WELCOME TO

Today, we are at the beginning of a Fourth Industrial Revolution. Developments in genetics, artificial

intelligence, robotics, nano technology, 3D printing and biotechnology, to name just a few, are all building on

and amplifying one another. In today’s scenario of this massive technological change accompanied by talent

shortages, mass unemployment and growing inequality-reskilling and upskilling of today’s workers will be

critical. The current technological revolution need not become a race between humans and machines but

rather an opportunity for work to truly become a channel through which people recognize their full potential.

To ensure that we achieve this vision, we must become more specific and much faster in understanding the

changes underway and cognizant of our collective responsibility to lead our educational ecosystem through

this transformative moment.

The “ICT Academy BRIDGE conference” with the theme “THE FUTURE OF WORK” will be the convergence of

the stakeholders driving Skill India, Digital India, Start-up India and Make in India, discussing the role and

importance in creating next generation talent pool for the future of work. ICT Academy BRIDGE Conference

will bring together industry experts, academic leaders and Government policy makers to address how to

achieve strategic readiness to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the digital workplace and develop

talent for the all new future of work. This conference will explore technological trends and how they are

reshaping the future of work, forecasting key areas of job disruption and evaluating ways in which policy

makers; academia & industry leaders can adapt regulatory and economic frameworks in response.
