8085 BASED VISITOR COUNTER

Introduction:

Digital visitor counter is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of counting

Number of Persons/ Visitors in the Room very accurately. When anybodyenters into the Room then the Counter is Incremented by one and hen

any one leaves the room then the Counter is Decremented by !ne. "he

total number of Persons inside the Room is dis#layed on the seven

segment dis#lays. "he micro#rocessor is used for this #ur#ose. It receives

the signals from the sensors$ and this signals o#erated under the control of 

softare hich is stored in the %emory. "he sensors are made ith hel# of 

&DRs hich are &ight De#endent Resistors$ hose Resistance is inversely

#ro#ortional to the &ight falling on it. "he IR &'D(s) are used as the &ightsource and it is focused on the &DRs$ the %icro#rocessor continuously

atches the &DRs.
