Objective #3: Remove 2010 Models (Re-Display as Requested) from 3D and VIERA Connect Displays

COMPLETE THIS OBJECTIVE FOR BOTH THE 3D AND VIERA CONNECT DISPLAYS. The instructions are THE SAME for each display.

STEP 1: Remove the TV

Turn off the TV and Home Theater models.

Unscrew four (4) screws & remove the Access Panel underneath the shelf on the display, to give you access to the power strip.

Turn off the power strip, and unplug the TV.

Disconnect the HDMI cable from the TV. Leave the HDMI cable hanging from the display, you will need to reuse it.

Loosen (but do not remove) the two (2) cap screws at the top of the TV brackets. This will allow you to remove the TV.

With an associate’s help, lift the existing TV off the display. Take great care to avoid damaging the TV.

If an associate is not available right away, begin removing the HT System - you don’t need help to do that.

UNSCREW AND REMOVE THE BRACKETS from the back of the existing TV. SAVE THE BRACKETS to use when hanging thenew TV.

Work with the store to re-display or put away the removed TV. The store should have the TV stand, if they want to place it inline.

STEP 2: Remove the Home Theater (HT)

Unplug the Home Theater (HT) from the power strip.

Unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the HT. Leave the cable fed through the display, you will need to reuse it.

Disconnect the speaker wires from the speakers, and carefully pull all speaker wires out of the display.

Lift off and remove all five speakers from their mounts. Leave the screw mounts in place.

Also remove the subwoofer and the main unit of the HT.

Objective #4: Install on 3D DISPLAY - TC-P55VT30 3D TV and SC-BTT370 3D Blu-ray Home Theater

STEP 1: Attach TV Brackets

Use brackets removed from old TV & new screws shipped to you.

The brackets should be 24” long with the extenders attached. If the extenders are NOT attached, ask the store if they know

where the extenders are - you will need them to achieve the proper height of the TV on the display. If the extenders are missingor damaged, hang the TV using the brackets that you have, but NOTE IN YOUR SURVEY the need for new extender brackets.

Uncover the screw holes on the back of the TV by removing the four plastic covers.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: The screws used to hang the 2010 3D TV are TOO LONG for the 2011 55VT30 TV. Use the NEWSCREWS to hang the TV.

Screw both brackets into the TV. Make sure the bracket lip is toward the top. Use the BOTTOM HOLE on the TV brackets, andthen whatever upper hole that lines up to achieve the proper TV height on the display.

STEP 2: Hang TV  Ask an associate for assistance in hanging the TV on the display. Make sure the TV is CENTERED on the display!

Feed the TV power cord into the wire hole on the back wall of the display. This will conceal the cable and allow you to plug it intothe power strip inside the Access Panel. Remove the wire hole cover if necessary.

Screw in the two cap screws on the bracket lips to secure the TV in place.

After hanging TV, check to make sure the “Panasonic VIERA” text is fully visible above the TV. If not, remove the TV and installthe brackets properly as instructed above, unless the extenders are missing. The “Panasonic VIERA” text MUST BE VISIBLE.

Insert the HDMI cable into HDMI 1 on the back of the TV.

Insert the USB Extension Cable from the 3D Pedestal into USB 1 on the back of the TV. You may need to remove a sticker touncover the USB 1 input.

Ensure the HDMI , USB, and power cables are tucked up behind the TV out of sight, and fed into the wire hole on the back wall of the display, behind the TV. WIRE MANAGEMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Hang the CENTER Speaker on the bracket behind the console graphic panel. You may need to swap screws to hang it.
