The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Shiraz. Day 2 Sunday: Shiraz B/D After breakfast at the hotel, visit Narenjesta Gardens and see the historical Qavam House. The Victorian-era inspired structure preserves the elegance and refinement enjoyed by the upper-class families during the 19 th century. Continue to Nasir-ol-Mulk Mosque, also known as the “Pink Mosque” due to its extensive usage of pink tiles for its interior design. Stroll through Vakil Bazar and visit Vakil Mosque that was built in the 18 th century. Continue to the tomb of Hafez, a great Persian poet. In the evening, enjoy a visit to the Holy Shrine of Ali Ebne Hamzeh. Return to the hotel and overnight in Shiraz. Day 3 Monday: Shiraz – Persepolis – Pasargadae - Yazd B/D After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Yazd. En route, stop at Persepolis, the heart of the Persian Empire (1 hour). Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the ruins is well-known for its style of Achaemenic architecture. Next, visit Naqsh-e Rostam, the necropolis of the Achaemenid dynasty. The necropolis housed four immense rock-cut tombs of four Achaemenid kings. Continue to Yazd via Pasargadae (5 hours 15 minutes). Upon arrival in Yazd, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Yazd. Day 4 Tuesday: Yazd – Isfahan B/D After breakfast at the hotel and check out, visit the Towers of Silence, a place where Zoroastrians left the dead bodies of the believers to be picked clean by vultures before burying the remaining bones in ossuaries around the towers. Next, visit Jameh Mosque, the grand congregational mosque of Yazd. Continue to Dowlat Abad Garden, the architectural jewel of the city. Constructed over 200 years ago, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, drive to Isfahan (4 hours 45 minutes). En route, stop at Pirnia House in Nain, one of the most valuable memorials of Safavid dynasty. Upon arrival in Isfahan, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Isfahan. Day 5 Wednesday: Isfahan B/D After breakfast at the hotel, explore Nashq-e-Jahan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Constructed between 1598 and 1629, it is an important historical site. The square is surrounded by buildings from the Safavid era, namely Ali-Qapou Palaze, Shah Mosque, Sheikh Loftallah Mosque, and Qeysarie Gate that opens into a bazaar. Day 6 Thursday : Isfahan – Matinabad B/D After breakfast at the hotel and check out, visit Vank Cathedral, also known as the Church of

the Saintly Sisters. The interior is covered with fine frescos and gilded carvings and includes

a wainscot of rich tile work that depicts the Biblical story of the creation of the world and

man's expulsion from Eden. Visit its museum that contains numerous historical artifacts of

the history of the cathedral and Armenian community. Walk through Jolfa District and see

the beautiful architectures. Next, visit the Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, another UNESCO World

Heritage Site. Depart for Matinabad Eco Camp (1 hour 30 minutes). Marvel at the starry sky

before calling it a night at the camp. Overnight in Matinabad.

Day 7 Friday : Matinabad – Abyaneh – Kashan – Tehran B/D After breakfast at the camp, you have an opportunity to try camel-riding (own expense).

After checking out from the camp, drive to Abyaneh Village (1 hour 30 minutes).

Characterized by a peculiar reddish hue, the village is one of the oldest in Iran, attracting

numerous native and foreign tourists year-round. Continue to Kashan (1 hour 10 minutes)

and visit Fin Garden, a UNESCO WOlrd Heritage Site. It contains Kashan's Fin Bath, where

Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor, was murdered by an assassin sent by King Nasereddin

Shah in 1852. Next, visit Tabatabaie House, a house museum built around 1880 during the

reign of the Qajar dynasty for the affluent Tabātabāei family. Continue to Tehran (2 hours 50

minutes). Upon arrival in Tehran, check in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 8 Saturday : Tehran B/D After breakfast at the hotel, visit the National Museum that houses historical monuments

dating back through preserved ancient and medieval Iranian antiquities, including pottery

vessels, metal objects, textile remains, and some rare books and coins. Continue to Golestan

Palace. One of the oldest historic monuments in the city of Tehran, this UNESCO complex

belongs to a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched walls

of Tehran's citadel. Next, visit the National Jewelry Museum, where all the national jewels of

Iran are displayed. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight in Tehran.
