A Christmas Table Centre

for beginners

This traditional festive table centre will be a charming centre piece for any

Christmas table using mainly garden foliage with the addition of a bunch of

roses

Materials required:

Oasis and tape

Tray/container

Mixed evergreen foliage

Roses/carnations or helebores

3 Candles

1. Assemble the materials

2. Soak the oasis by floating in water until it sinks. DO NOT PUSH IT DOWN

3. Secure the wet block into the tray with Oasis tape or sellotape

4. Push 3 candles into the foam and start to arrange a varied selection of foliage to give an oval

outline

5. Use shorter foliage to give a raised profile and to cover the foam

6. Add some snow berries for interest

7. And some roses (carnation or hellebores from your garden) for some colour

8. Finish with some twigs
