of San Francisco, to produce a documentary in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary on the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge
Project Objective
Produce a 30 minute documentary on the
construction of the Golden Gate Bridge in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of its completion. The documentary will be completed on January 5, 2012 within a budget of $200,000.

• SFCAC will be providing the funding for overall production
• Interviewees will be available as planned and scheduled
• Script will be provided• Filming takes place during summer and fall months,
thus avoiding weather related issues• All equipment will be fully functioning • Access permits will be made available prior to filming

Acceptance Criteria
• Film is 30 minutes long.• Film features all the people selected by the
SFCAC for interviews.• Film follows scripting and sequencing put
forth by SFCAC• Content is PG rated• Must be of HD quality
The Marin Tower (north side) was built from November 1933 to October 1934 followed by the San Francisco Tower(southside) from January 1935 to June 1935
Bridge main span, which supports the roadway, was assembled in sections that were constructed concurrently from the south side and the north side.
On November 18, 1936, the two sections were joined in the middle.

It takes 17 painters a whole year to repaint the bridge from one end to the other.

points of the acceptance criteria are met.
This will allow for the city to primer the film during the anniversary gala.
Work directly with the city and production crew by checking in at each milestone to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Conformance to Requirements
Ensure that production and film crew adhere to all the SFCAC requirements.
The film must fulfill all five major requirements set forth by SFCAC
Production team will story board the script, all permits will be acquired and interviews scheduled prior to shooting.
Film Quality Documentary must be of HD quality.
This film is intended to be screened using the latest HD projection on a wide, theater screen.
Confer with production and film crew prior to filming in order to ensure correct equipment is used.
Film Content Content must reflect script, relevance and historical accuracy.
Due to the nature of this film, there is not a lot of room for reinterpretation or revision. Film must be relevant to the occasion, as well as historically accurate.
Review script and sequencing pre-production, do follow-up research when needed.
