Top energy saving tips to help you reduce your fuel bills 1. Set the heating to the right temperature. During the day

set the thermostat to 21C (70F), and during the night set to 18C (64F)

2. Set the heating to come on just before you get up and switch off after you’ve gone to bed. If it’s very cold, set it to come on earlier and turn off later rather than turning the thermostat up.

3. If you can’t heat all of your rooms, heat the living room throughout the day and the bedroom just before you go to bed. Remember to close curtains and shut doors to keep the heat in.

4. Heating your home safely is important. Get your heating system checked regularly and keep your rooms well venti-lated.
