The Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Day Health Care Center recently hosted their “Taste of the

Towns” Fall Fundraising Event.

The purpose of this event is to bring together supporters of the Center as well as benefit the Center’s Scholarship Fund.

The Scholarship Fund provides families and/or caregivers with

financial assistance to attend the Adult Day Center. Although Adult Day Services are a fraction of the cost compared to some in-home care services and nursing facility placement,

financial assistance is still needed for most in our community. It is our goal to never turn anyone away due to financial restrictions.
