PRISON MINISTRY VISITATION
Women’s Ministry Leadership C hangeLynnette Raines, has spent the last several years serving the women of our church as the leader of the Women’s Ministry Team. While trying to be a blessing to other women, Lynnette was blessed by women she has touched whether on the team, in the church, or around the world.
Lynnette has been led to rotate off the team. God has lifted up Shenna Gabbard to step into the director position. Sheena is humble, delegates well and communicates with vision, clarity and grace.
Sheena Gabbard has served First Baptist Church in various ways, but over the past few years, while serving on the Women's Ministry Team at FBC, she has felt the Lord pouring passion into her heart for women to truly know God and experience His love. Sheena and her husband, Steven, have been married for eight years and reside in Rutherford County, NC.
“I desire all women to thrive in their journey with the Lord and to share with them the ‘secret’ to thriving,” Sheena said. “’And the secret is this: Christ in you, the hope of glory.’ Colossians 1:27.”
Please support and pray for Sheena and the team as they continue to bring the Body of Christ together in every event and activity.
Prayer Room
Did you know that we have a prayer line? People in our church and community often call to talk to someone or leave messages for prayer needs.
We need volunteers to come to the Prayer Room to lift these needs up in prayer and write a note of encouragement. Do you have an hour a week you can give to this ministry? Contact the Prayer Room at 693-PRAY (7729) for more information.
HaitiSteve and Judy Revis were happy to have two church teams come and help them with various projects.
