To conserve Breinton as an essentially rural parish – a green lung for Hereford

What a Neighbourhood Plan for Breinton can do

1. Decide where and what type of development should happen

2. Decide what this should look like

3. Promote development in line with Herefordshire’s Local Plan

4. Include detailed planning policies for the use and development of land

A Neighbourhood Plan cannot 1. Conflict with policies in the Local

Plan or the National Planning Policy Framework

2. Be used to stop development – it has to be positively prepared

3. Be produced by anyone other than the Parish Council

4. Include countywide matters such as waste disposal, mineral extraction ……….

A Neighbourhood Plan must….

How you can help
