Our flight is approximately 30minutes to the private air strip atSAVUTI SAFARI LODGe. The lodgeoverlooks the normally dry SavutiChannel, but has its own waterholewhich naturally attracts the game.

The Savuti Safari Lodge is situatedoverlooking the famed Savute Channelin the south-west region of ChobeNational Park. When David Livingstone,the first european to visit the area, sawthe channel in 1851 it was flowing. Sincethen it’s incurred long dry periods,interspersed with occasional riverflows. No one knows what may happenfrom year to year, however the lodgealso benefits from having its ownwaterhole. The Savute region is bestknown for its diverse wildlife andintensive predator interactions.

ACCOMMODATION

To ensure a private and relaxingenvironment, Savute Safari Lodgeaccommodates just twenty four guestsin 12 thatch, timber and glass chaletselegantly furnished in calm neutraltones to blend in with the naturalenvironment. each chalet features anexpansive private deck, a combinedbedroom and lounge area, and en suitefacilities.

The Okavango is the world’s largestinland delta  and with its rich diversityof fauna and flora, it is widely regardedas one of Africa’s most sought afternatural destinations. Camp Okavango issituated on a remote island in the heartof the permanent Okavango Delta.

ACCOMMODATIONS

To ensure a peaceful and genuine safariexperience, Camp Okavangoaccommodates just twenty-fourguests. each of the 12 guest suites havebeen built on individual raised woodenplatforms and set beneath the thickOkavango Delta vegetation. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanities,double shower and a separate toilet(with a view!). The stack away slidingdoors open onto a private open-airviewing deck offering beautiful viewsover the Okavango Delta.
