PRINCIPAL’S REPORT:

Well done to our Under 16 Netball Team who competed in Dubbo on Tuesday. Thanks to our parent drivers, Julianne, Tracey, and Kathryn.

Our Year 11 Hospitality class went to Peak Hill on Tuesday for an assessment day with their peers from other Access schools.

Congratulations to our Year 12 students who completed mandatory Work Placement last week: Blain, Courtney, Teijana, Tamara, Paige, Morgan and Matthew.

This Wednesday, the P&C is hosting a free BBQ dinner at our Parent Teacher Interviews. Please come along to speak with your child’s teacher/s about their progress. We will be distributing the Semester 1 reports on the night. We request that you call the office to arrange an appointment time for Wednesday 25 June from 3.30-6.30pm. We will be giving away one family pass to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo to one lucky parent who makes an appointment.

Term 2 comes to an end this Friday, I wish all families a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you all next term. Students resume on Tuesday 15 July for Term 3.

TOP GUN DAY

On Friday 27 June we will be holding our

annual K -12 ‘Top Gun’ challenge. Our

theme this year is ‘Respect’. Throughout

the day our students will be involved in a

variety of challenges to develop this

concept as well as the concept of

teamwork. The culmination of the day will

be our talent show after lunch, where

each year group will test their

performance flair against the gongs of the

judges. Each year group is asked to select

an appropriate colour scheme or uniform

to represent their team. A hamburger

and popper lunch will be supplied on the

day, but students must supply their own

recess. There will be no charge for these

activities because our SRC has been

working hard to cover costs. Please note

that there will be NO assembly on this

day.

SRC TREATS DAY

COMING EVENTS:

As the weather is getting colder, please remember to send your child to school with their school jumper.

Don't forget to write your child’s name on the label.
