Safely Open Knuckles:Sidekick is designed to allow employees to safely open knuckles without entering the gauge of the rail. Lift the uncoupling lever and pull the knuckle open from the front face or by knuckle hole with the Sidekick.

Safely OperateRetainer Valves:Sidekick enables an employee to apply or release the retainer valve handle without climbing the rail car. The Sidekick hook has a slot that permits employees to push or pull the retainer valve handle.
