Thailand, know for long period as Siam, has always managed to retain its independence while nations all around fell prey at once time or another to colonialist power, and Thailand has always had a king on the throne as the nation’s leader. The name of our king is His Majesty king Bhumibol. His Majesty king Bhumibol was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the United States, the youngest son of Mahidol Adulyadej, Prince of Songkhla, and Mom Sangwal or Somdej Phra Sri Nakarinthara BoromaratchachonaniHis Majesty King Bhumibol of Thailand is know as the working monarch of the world. He visits the remote areas all over the country to listen to the villager’s problems and tries to improve their livelihood through various methods and the Royal Project. And the one project that everybody know very well is “Sufficiency Economy”. Sufficiency Economy is a philosophy bestowed by His Majesty the king. The philosophy provides guidance on appropriate conduct covering numerous aspects of life.

Sufficiency means moderation and due consideration in all modes of conduct, as well as the need for sufficient protection from internal and external shocks. Sufficiency Economy is the way to make the happy life. And it is necessary to know and understand about “Sufficiency Economy” and the people must apply with the moral to make a living. “Sufficiency Economy” is not only saving but it is an intelligent way to make a living. And you will be able to live in the globalization and in the present day.
