1. Introduction:
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is formed as an umbrella
institution for all the retail payments systems in the country. The core objective is to consolidate
and integrate the multiple systems with varying service levels into nation-wide uniform and
standard business process for all retail payment systems. The other objective was to facilitate an
affordable payment mechanism to benefit the common man across the country and help financial
inclusion. In AEPS transactions customer has to provide his/her aadhar number and fingerprint to
do transactions. Transaction procedure for AEPS transactions is as follows:
MENU FOR AEPS TRANSACTIONS:
1. Log in as KO/Sub-KO.
2. Find the link for AEPS transactions.
3. Click on it you will the home screen for AEPS transactions.

2. Balance Enquiry:
1. On AEPS transaction home screen first select bank name.
2. Enter the Aadhar Number in Aadhar number field.
3. For balance enquiry from select a Service please select Balance Enquiry service.
4. After that click on submit button
5. After clicking on submit your are prompted to capture customer fingerprint (any finger )

6.Please select account number to check its balance as follows:
7.After clicking on submit the receipt will come with successful response.

8. By clicking on print button take the print of receipt for future reference.

3. AEPS DEPOSIT Transactions:
1. On AEPS transaction home screen first select bank name.
2. Enter the Aadhar Number in Aadhar number field.
3. For AEPS Deposit from select a Service please select Deposit service.
4. After that click on submit button.

5. Please select account number to which money has to be deposited and enter the amount to be deposited
as follows:

6. After selecting the account number click on submit. After clicking on submit the denomination
page will come as follows
8.After filling the required values in denomination page click on verify button it will go on Fingerprint
verify page.

9. Please select the finger to be captured on fingerprint verification screen.
10. Please capture the fingerprint of customer for authorization then click on Authorize.
11. Once fingerprint is captured the transaction password screen will come here you have to enter your
transaction password.

12. After entering the transaction password and clicking on authorize the confirmation page will come
here final confirmation is done for transaction.

13. Once the transaction is confirmed by clicking on confirm button the screen with receipt will come.

4. AEPS Withdrawal Transaction:
1. On AEPS transaction home screen first select bank name.
2. Enter the Aadhar Number in Aadhar number field.
3. For AEPS Withdrawal from select a Service please select Withdrawal service.
4. After that click on submit button.
5. Please select account number to which money has to be deposited and enter the amount to be
withdrawal as follows:

6. After selecting the account number click on submit. After clicking on submit the denomination page
will come as follows :
7. After filling the required values in denomination page click on verify button it will go on Fingerprint

5. AEPS Funds transfer Transactions:
1. On AEPS transaction home screen first select bank name.
2. Enter the Aadhar number in Aadhar number field.
3. For AEPS Funds Transfer Transaction from select a Service please select Funds Transfer
service.
4. After selecting funds transfer it will prompt to enter the beneficiary details.

5. Please enter the beneficiary details as follows:
6. After clicking on submit it will come to the screen where customer has to select remitter and
beneficiary account number and enter the amount to be transferred.

7. After clicking on verify it will go to fingerprint verification page.
8. Please select the finger to be captured on fingerprint verification screen.

9. Please capture the fingerprint of customer for authorization then click on Authorize.
10. Once fingerprint is captured the transaction password screen will come here you have to enter your
transaction password.

11. After entering the transaction password and clicking on authorize the confirmation page will come
here final confirmation is done for transaction.

5. BFD (Best Finger Detection):
UIDAI has come up with the BFD service by using which the resident will be apprised of the
finger providing the best accuracy and successful matching results. We shall refer to this finger
with best accuracy as the best finger. Resident may possess one or more best fingers. This
knowledge allows the resident to provide his/her best finger(s) during authentication thereby
increasing the chances of successful match.
BFD can be done as follows:
1. On AEPS transaction home screen first select bank name.
2. Enter the Aadhar number in Aadhar number field.
3. For Best Finger Detection (BFD) from select a Service please select Best Finger Detection.
4. After clicking on the submit it will go BFD home screen.

5. Once the device initialization done, for BFD starts with selecting the left hand little finger for capturing
as follows:

6. Like the same way capture the fingerprint for other fingers.

7. Once the fingerprint of all fingers are captured click on process to complete BFD process.

8. Once click on the process the receipt for Best Fingerprint Detection (BFD) is generated as follows:
