Analysis of Call Drops, Blocked Calls, Handover Failures, Excessive Handovers,

Congestion, Swapping, Interferences, Poor quality and Poor C/I

RF Engineer, Optimization and Drive Testing

Data Analysis and report submission.

 N/W Optimization & Analysis.

Traffic dimensioning, Coverage Prediction, interference analysis.

Drive tests Investigator Drive testing tool for identifying Coverage holes, capacity

requirements and new coverage requirements.

Performing Drive tests & analyzing RF drive test data to evaluate network 

 performance

Finding reason for Drop calls and trying to find a solution for drop call.

To analyze the drive test data and suggesting changes.

Analyzing the processed data and optimizing the network by making required

changes like change in orientation of antennas, change of tilts etc.

Acceptance testing of network (RF Coverage): Down tilt (electrical &

mechanical), re- orientation (azimuth and/or height) and beam width specifications.

Trouble shooting the problems in the network by which improving the voice

quality and Coverage
