About iDevelop At a time when the continuous improvement of competences and
qualifications has become a reality, a teacher who possesses substantial and
empirical knowledge is an integral part of the school environment.
iDevelop is an international training provider specialized in the development of
professionals working in the educational sector by promoting, supporting and
providing training activities in accordance with the Erasmus+ principles.
It constitutes the teachers training department of euroMind Group, an
international training and internship consultancy aimed at VET sector.
Many years of experience working closely with schools all over Europe has
allowed us to reach a deep understanding of the reality of the teaching sector.
Hence, iDevelop is able to observe the needs, new tendencies and the continuous changes the educational
system is undergoing.
Thanks to this background, iDevelop have launched a wide range of courses and training events which provide
all the necessary tools to improve the skills of teachers and school staff.
The training courses offered by iDevelop were designed in cooperation with experts with an extensive
experience in the field of education. Topics covered in our training courses are all
related to educational issues, such as: motivation, new teaching methods,
emotional balance and the use of new communication and information
technologies.
Teachers will learn different ways and methods to foster their students to become creative and critical thinkers as well as collaborators and problem solvers. Based on a solid structure to create the learning contexts that facilitate the atmosphere where students can develop and explore confidently, sharing experiences that will help them move into the new and changing horizons of life and work.
The four C’s: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking involve the knowledge and management of cognitive, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, that will contribute to well-being and success in life.
It is needed to develop these competencies in explicit and intentional ways, through changes in curriculum design and pedagogical practice, or at least doing so systematically, to choose appropriate communication techniques, tailored to the recipient.

Day 1 (5 hours)
ALL AND EVERYONE. CREATIVITY
Ice breaker. When anything is possible. Know each other. Presentation activity where participants get to know each other. Group
exchange: sharing experiences related to the topic of the workshop and expectations towards it.
Creative thinking. Definition, Principles & Creative thinking styles. Analysis of styles among the participants. Unconventional thinking and lateral thinking. Methods of creative thinking simulation among students.
Flow state. Unconscious incubation: the importance of resting, our brain’s time and how to overcome the barriers of conventional thinking.
Day 2 (5 hours)
TO TALK TO YOU. COMMUNICATION
Basics. Communication theory.
Elements involved in the communication process, barriers, regulations and functions. Verbal and non-verbal communication.
Free. Effective and affective communication. Empathy and assertiveness. Tips for their development and implementation.
What for? Assertive techniques: broken record, I messages, reframing and rephrasing. Prepare Communication: goals, responsibility and clean language.
Listen. Active listening. Jump the barriers of communication.
Day 3 (5 hours) BEAUTIFUL
FEELING. COLLABORATION
AND PROBLEM SOLVING
Together. Benefits of collaboration and ways to foster it at different levels. Rosenberg: Non-violent Communication.
Steps. Problem solving and programs of social and life skills. Relax. Anger management and alternatives to aggression. Building self-esteem and caring
peer relationships. Alternatives. Creative techniques to solve problems.
Day 4 (5 hours)
CHAIN OF KEYS. CRITICAL
THINKING
Positions. Definition and consequences for the teacher, student’s role, classroom atmosphere.
Group work. Application to real life contexts: stereotypes, advertising and history Wonder. Questioning strategies for clarification that prove assumptions about perspectives. Tips. Techniques, strategies and programs to stimulate ways of critical thinking development
among learners.
Day 5 (5 hours)
THE COMMUNITY OF HOPE
Conclusions. 21st century competencies + cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal development.
Finding my way. Sharing plan designs for a creative and critical class. Group feedback. Creative farewell. Conclusions and the importance of ‘the end’.

Course Programme
The approach will be practical, experiential and based on an analysis of reality and the concerns of the
group. Mainly we will work in assembly and small groups, encouraging the reflection and creativity in order
to expand the options and alternatives for action. We will also make use of the role-play, and the analysis of
cases and group dynamics.
Additionally, course follow-up strategy will be proposed to all the teachers in order to monitor the
implementation of good practices in their schools based on the knowledge, skills and competencies gained
by them during the course in Spain.
Through their commitment and active participation to share new competences they will be able to build
professionally oriented support networks in their communities, making, at the same time, their work and
contribution more visible on a local scale.
By completing this course, participants will be able to:
1. Acquire basic theoretical knowledge about human communication that will enable them to use both more effective and conscious communication in order to have a better influence.
2. Get to know practical application of the theories and techniques of communication for the better development of their teaching, facilitating student learning, collaboration and problem solving.
3. Improve skills and resources to build constructive and positive relationships with students, partners and families.
4. Get to know specific resources and programs to teach students to improve their communication, social skills and problem solving.
5. Be able to use different methods of implementing creative solutions in their professional life, discovering at the same time their own creative resources.
6. Create effectively conditions and support for creative and critical thinking among their students.
7. Get to know and use a wide range of programs and tools aimed at shaping creative and critical thinking.
8. Learn how to look for solutions and improve their communication skills by analysing problems from a systemic and systematic point of view.
9. Unblock patterns of thinking which we use on a daily basis, expanding their habitual strategies of behaviour.
10. Develop the awareness of the starting point, the challenges and possibilities, planning strategies of short and long duration, adjusted to the personal and professional situation and the context in which their activities take place.
Learning Outcomes
Methodology
Ana Aurora possesses a degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Resources. She is an expert
in Psychotherapy, Conflict Mediation, Family Therapy. Also she can boast an extensive experience in
delivering teaching workshops for adults, mainly teachers and families.
What is more, she also works as a psychotherapist in private practice and develops her acercaterapia.es
project to give the society the clues for emotional balance, improvement of their relationships and to
promote an active and positive attitude to life. In her approach, she is close, committed and transmits her
enthusiasm from a realistic point of view.
How the skills learnt can be applied in teaching work?
Feel more motivated and excited about their day to day professional work, spreading this positive attitude to the rest of the teaching community.
Improve the perspectives and development opportunities of each student. Promote group work and long-term projects to provoke changes with benefit effects and
impact on the learning process and more satisfying and stimulating climate at schools. Keep abreast of the times. Verify and develop their pedagogical and communication skills. Contribute to the creation of a new open-minded and all-inclusive school.
Meet the tutor Ana Aurora, in her professional work, focuses on facilitating changes
through a set of key elements which serve to improve one’s own well-
being, communication, as well as emotions and conflicts management.
She works by analysing the reality from a systemic, practical and brief
point of view, providing the resources to analyze and react to
problematic situations that allow for greater influence to improve or
resolve them.
