Cast Basalt is produced by melting of naturally avail-

able basalt rock and cast into tiles and cylinder.

The casting is so produced is then subjected to

heat treatment cycle to produce Re - crystallized ba-

salt the resultant product is called as fused cast basalt

which has excellent wear resistant properties against

sliding and friction induced abrasion and also inherits

the inertness of parent material.

The Bag filter consists of filter cartridges (bags), en

closed in a metal housing in which fresh air enters

the bag filter housing through hopper inlet, deliver-

ing the powder to the hopper through suction or

pressure, which then gets collected in the air bag

and the clean air passes through bags into the atmo
