One-on-one or group appointments are available with our paraprofessional staff by calling 231-591-3543 or by stopping by FLITE 120 to schedule an appointment.
Tutoring TutoringGuidelines
All tutoring is FREE!Tutoring is arranged on a first-come
first-served basis.
Students are allowed two appointments
per week, per subject.
One-on-one or small group sessions
in the ASC can be scheduled.
Regularly scheduled course-specific
workshop tutoring is provided in
classrooms on campus.
Lab tutoring assists students with the
use of specialized equipment
Students should call 231-591-3543 for an appointment
or stop by FLITE 120.
Check in at the front desk.
Maximum of one hour of tutoring per day, per subject. This includes scheduled appointments and walk-in tutoring.
Maximum of two hours of tutoring per week, per subject. This includes scheduled appointments and walk-in tutoring.
Give at least four hours notice if you need to cancel. Appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours notice will be considered "missed".
If two appointments are missed, the student is limited to walk-in tutoring only.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, you rist losing your appointment.
Walk-in availabilities fluctuate with the semester for courses and times. Check the schedules on Tutor-Trac.
Do your homework, and come prepared with relevant textbooks, course materials and notes.
