INTRODUCING EILAT, ISRAEL ON THE RED SEA

Located in the southern most point in Israel, the resort city of Eilat on the Red Sea is the largest tourist hotspot in Israel. There are over 140 hotels in Eilat; over 60 of them ranked as 5-star hotels (according to TripAdvisor). Resting between the Red Sea, with its rich sea life, coral, and historical desert landmarks, Eilat draws tourists from all over the world looking for fun-in-the-sun and luxury hospitality.

Eilat is a southern Israeli port and resort town on the Red Sea, near Jordan and Egypt. Its beaches are noted for their calm waters, like Dolphin Reef, where the aquatic mammals are often spotted. Known for snorkeling and diving, Coral Beach Nature Reserve has buoy-marked underwater trails among fish-filled reefs. Nearby Coral World Underwater Observatory Marine Park has a glass-enclosed observation center submerged offshore.

Ideally they should be able to show permission to attend the program from their academic institution.

• Hospitality students should be able to speak and study in English. This may be waived if coming with an English-speaking faculty member on a faculty-led program.

• For culinary students, if the group prefers studying in the same language, translation services during classes is offered.

• For the Culinary program, participants must have some experience and/or formal education in the field. We reserve the right to reject applicants we deem unsuitable.

What’s required from the participating student?

1 The student must meet the academic requirements from the lessons.2 The student will undergo 155 hours of professional internship a month (average 4 shifts of 9 hours a week). 3 The one-time application and registration fee.4 Full Tuition paid 40 days before program starts (this covers all items listed on page 20).5 The student must adhere to the hotel’s guidelines and procedures. 6 The student must adhere to the program's rules and regulations (no violence, no illegal substances, cannot work during program etc.)
