PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THIS FAST PACED COURSE THAT FOCUSES ON ENGAGEMENTS WHICH OCCUR IN AND AROUND VEHICLES. STUDENTS WILL BE EXPOSED TO ACCELERATED WEAPONS HANDLING IN COMPRESSED ENVIRONMENTS AND PROBLEM SOLVING IN RELATION TO VEHICLE BASED WORK.

COURSE DETAILS

Vehicle CQB™ is an accelerated shooting course focused on problem solving during close range, sudden, high intensity engagements in and around vehicles. Students will push their tactical and shooting skills while working alone and as a two person team maneuvering around various cars and trucks in a 3D environment. Drills will incorporate threat identification, non-traditional shooting platforms, and spontaneous weapons manipulations while engaging threats, in, around, over, under and from within vehicles. The course includes live ballistic demos with a variety of ammunition to demonstrate the myths and realities of shooting through various vehicle mediums. This course will have long days so please be prepared.

4-Days | Handgun & Rifle Eligibility: Recognized Instructor Level Certification in firearms or CQB

OPEN ENROLLMENT

2-Days | Restricted to Handgun Only Eligibility: Students must demonstrate solid safety and marksmanship skills at an intermediate to an advanced level. This is not a basic course.

Officer William Petty began his Law Enforcement career in 2003 in Albuquerque, NM. While there he served as a Firearms and Tactics Instructor, an Emergency Response Team member, and on the department shooting team. In 2011, Petty relocated to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where he worked as a Counter Terrorism Instructor with the Critical National Infrastructure Authority. Currently, Petty is assigned to patrol and is an active Instructor for the TTPOA, OTOA, and several regional Police Academies. His VCQB™, Low Light and Instructor Development programs have been adopted by scores of departments across the US and Canada.
