• The presentation space is a safe space.
• “Can everyone hear me? Am I speaking loud enough?”
• “Am I speaking too fast? Should I speak slower?”
Check-In
• “If at any point you require me to slow down or clarify what I have said, feel free to stop me”
• “When raising your hand for questions/comments, please state your name”
• Let the audience know that you will be describing images as you go for the benefit of people with visual disabilities

• Notify audience if there are volunteers present
• “Feel free to get up and move around”
• Do not use language that excludes people

• Pace yourself and stop occasionally to make sure that your audience is following along…
