COUNT ME IN TAMIU PKP President Receives ‘Love of Learning’ Grant A member of the Texas A&M Internaonal University (TAMIU) chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi received the Love of Learning Award worth $500. Dr. James Norris, TAMIU associate professor of polical science, was one of 160 winners chosen from over 400 applicants. Read more. New TAMIU Literacy Center Expansion An expansion of a highly successful Texas A&M Internaonal University (TAMIU) Literacy Enrichment Center (LEC) program for elementary school students that strengthens reading and wring skills will happen thanks to a generous grant totaling $300,000 from the Trustees of the Lamar Bruni Vergara Trust. Hasngs has generously donated a poron of their orchid collecon to Texas A&M Internaonal University to honor the memory of their late grandparents, avid orchid collectors.
