ATS is positioned to dominate thecritical subsea system welding servicesmarket around the world, particularly inthe Gulf Coast region, and in Brazil. TheCompany has several hundred weldingprocedures qualified in accordance withinternationally recognised industrialspecifications, allowing it to provide rapidresponse services in critical applications, when time and skills are of essence, andqualified procedures are mandated bycustomer specifications and governmentregulations.

In addition to the energy industry, ATShas skill and experience in the fabricationof exotic alloy systems used in theaerospace, hydrospace and nuclearindustries. The Company has completedseveral critical projects for NASA, including

the fabrication of custom hardware nowbeing used aboard the space station. ATShas succeeded in transferring technologiesbetween industrial disciplines, using itstitanium fabrication expertise to buildcritical control systems utilising titanium

tubing for both military and commercialapplications. The critical tube weldingexpertise that ATS has applied toaerospace and hydrospace, is also used tofabricate tubing systems forpharmaceutical, food processing, and gasseparation industries. The Company hasimplemented orbital gas tungsten arcwelding technology for new installationsaround the world, including fabricationand inspection of stainless steel tubing forthe largest insulin plant in the world, located in Montes Claros, Minas GeraisBrazil, for NovoNordisk. Thus, there are avariety of other applications to whichATS’s engineered solutions can be applied.

ACHIEVEMENTSIn the last ten years, ATS has emerged

as a well-recognised name among thetop-level production companies’engineering teams. The Company’sadvances in the science of weldingengineering have led to the developmentof the automated and mechanised

welding systems, and proceduresoperators need for critical applications. ATSprovides essential support for clientsaround the world, and capitalises on itssignificant exposure and good willgenerated through commitment. With astated objective of “engineeringsolutions”, we believe ATS is uniquelypositioned to expand its role as theresource customers call upon to consult inthe early stages of project development, and the one call they make when theyfind themselves in emergency situations. ❙
