The holistic V1P model provides a range of social and mental health support to veterans. You will have responsibility for providing psychological therapies to Veterans. The full range of clinical presentations/complexity is represented and there are opportunities for group work and partnership work with other agencies. You will also contribute to service development, supervision, research and co-ordination of V1P. Personal experience of the military community and/or experience of working with veterans is desirable. More information regarding the V1P model can be found at http://www.veteransfirstpoint.org.uk.

You will also take an active part in the Area Psychology Service, seeking opportunities for research, professional development and contributing to that of others. The post is based at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline.

Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.
