.Net 4.5 is also required. It is baked into the installer which will automatically prompt the user to install if needed.
Installation/Deployment
Admin Server Installation/Setup for Multiple Users
1. Go to https://www.cirrusinsight.com/outlook/ and download Cirrus Insight for Outlook.
2. Note that default install location is C:\Program Files\Cirruspath, Inc.\Cirrus
Insight for Outlook.
3. Note the downloaded zip file contains two files a setup.exe and an MSI.
The MSI needs to be run as administrator in order to install the software.
4. Rightclick Setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator. The installer will walk
you through the process.
EndUser Installation
To allow your users to install individually on their computers, have them perform the following steps: 1. To access the Outlook installer for Cirrus Insight, click on the following link: https://www.cirrusinsight.com/outlook/
2. When you select the file you will be prompted to save your file to your local computer. In most cases this will be your Download folder. 3. Navigate to the Download folder (or the download location you chose) and doubleclick on CirrusInsightForOutlook.msi
4. You may see the following screen. Click the Run button if so. Otherwise, go to
the next step.
5. The installer will start. Click Next.
6. Click to accept the terms of the agreement and then click Next.
7. Select Next to install the application in default directory.
8. Click Install.
9. Click the Finish button.
10. Open up Outlook.
11. You’ll see Cirrus Insight in a panel on the right and you'll be prompted to sign in using your Salesforce credentials. Click the Sign in to Salesforce button.
12. A window will pop up. Log in with your Salesforce credentials.
That’s it! You can start using Cirrus Insight.
Account Dashboard
The Account Dashboard allows you to manage all users within your Cirrus Insight license and/or Salesforce organization. You can activate and deactivate users, add new seats, configure preferences, and update your billing info. You can access the Dashboard directly from your Cirrus Insight side panel by clicking on Gear icon to access your Settings.
Now select Account Dashboard under the Settings list.
To log in, use the Salesforce ID associated with your Cirrus Insight account. There are three levels of access to the dashboard:

Management of the dashboard is restricted to the billing contact on the account. To request additional admin privileges or transfer admin access please contact Customer Support at http://www.cirrusinsight.com/support
Licenses
The Licenses tab allows you view your plan, switch between licenses, see a list of users, activate and deactivate these users, invite new users, add new seats, and update your billing info. Click on the Licenses tab to access the license data.
Information provided includes the org license id number, status of the license, type of plan, number of registered users, number of purchased seats, number of active seats, and number of trial seats.
Switch Between Licenses To switch between licenses, click the dropdown arrow on the top right of the license panel.
Activating and Deactivating Users To activate or deactivate a user, select the checkbox next to their name and click the Activate User or Deactivate User button as appropriate.

Inviting New Users To invite a new user, click the Invite Users button in the Overview License Panel and enter the user’s email address.
To invite multiple users, simply enter multiple email addresses (each divided by a single space) in the input field.
Adding New Seats To add new seats to the license, click the Add Seats button in the license panel.
You will be asked how many seats you wish to purchase. Once you click Apply, you will be given the prorated price, as well as the updated renewal price for your entire license. You can then click Purchase to make the payment.
Updating Billing Info To update your billing info, click the blue Update Billing Info button and fill out the applicable fields.
Control Panel
The Control Panel tab allows admins to enable or disable Cirrus Insight features for users across the Org. Click the Control Panel tab to access the features available. These features include the Calendar Sync, Organizational Preferences, Whitelist, Refresh User Cache, and Allowed Domains.
Calendar Sync If your org is using an Office 365 server, Cirrus Insight’s Calendar Sync function will sync all of your events and attendees between Salesforce and Office 365 Calendar. The sync is bidirectional, so input/changes made in one location will sync to the other. Click the Calendar Sync button to access the Calendar Sync Setting window.
As an admin, you can select the options for your org. These include Ignore Private Events, Sync All Events, and Choose Which Events to Sync.
If your company has opted to not use Calendar Sync, click the Disable Calendar Sync button.
Organizational Preferences Click on the Organizational Preferences button to access numerous controls for your org.
The twelve control options are displayed and descriptions of their functions are provided. The functions include: Calendar Sync, Contact Sync, Email Tracking, CI for Google Calendar, Signature Capture, Email Templates, Email Attachments, Task Management, Searchable Email Fields, Login Policy, Automatic Logging, and Followup Notifications. Simply click the checkbox before each item to enable the desired function. The box will turn blue with a white checkmark.
Uncheck the box before each item to disable the desired function. The box will no longer be blue.
Whitelist The Whitelist feature allows you to specify the individual users that can use Cirrus Insight via their Salesforce username. The Whitelist restricts Cirrus Insight access to users on the list. Only users on the Whitelist will be able to log in. Users not on the list will see a message prompting them to contact their Salesforce Administrator.
Only Super Admins can create a Whitelist. To request Super Admin access please contact Customer Success at http://www.cirrusinsight.com/support. If you are an Admin or Super Admin DO NOT remove yourself from the whitelist or you will lose access to Cirrus Insight. Click the Whitelist button to access the Whitelist window.
From this window you are able to check the whitelist status of a given user, add users to the whitelist or remove them.
Refresh User Cache You can quickly refresh your user’s cache with this feature. Click the orange Refresh User Cache button and any cached configuration data will be immediately reset for all Cirrus Insight users in your org.
Allowed Domains You can also specify what domain names Cirrus Insight will appear in. This feature can be utilized to restrict Cirrus Insight from appearing in users’ nonbusiness email accounts.
Click on the Allowed Domains button to access this feature.
Within the input field, you can add the domain name(s) you want to allow to display Cirrus Insight.
Users
Click the Users tab and a list of your users is displayed with their settings.
You will see a list of users, their activation status, and whether or not Contact/Calendar Sync is enabled on their account. You can also search for individual users with the search box:
Should you need a copy of all your users and their settings, click the download button and this info will be downloaded to your system.
Knowledge Base
To find the answer to a question you have about Cirrus Insight, you can input specific keywords or phrases in our Knowledge Base search field to access helpful articles.
Click the Knowledge Base tab to open a new browser window with this Cirrus
Insight webpage.
At the Cirrus Insight webpage, search through the listed article names or use the search field to find the answer to your question.
Support
Using the Support feature, you can send our Customer Success experts a support ticket for a quick resolution to your question or problem.
You simply need to provide a detailed explanation of the issue with all pertinent
user information and include a screenshot if possible. Our Customer Success
team is eager to help you resolve your issue quickly.
