Things to Know: Parking: For first time visitors, there is a kiosk stationed at every lot where you can purchase a day permit for $2 (singles only). After purchasing, place the pass on the dashboard of your vehicle. Returning students have the option to purchase a semester long parking permit for $20- $27 (Fall & Spring semester) and $7- $10 (Summer & Winter semester). Student Portal Login Info: Your student portal (SIS) is where you go to Add/ Drop classes, view grades/ transcripts, and more. You can access it by going to WLAC.edu and clicking on the yellow button in the top right corner that says “Register”. The username for your student portal will be your student ID # and if you are a first time user, your default password will be:
88@ + the first character of your last name (capitalized) + the month and day of your birthdate (MMDD)

Adding/Dropping a class: If you are no longer interested in attending a class that you have registered, make sure to login into your portal to drop the class http://mycollege.laccd.edu/
In your portal you can also access your schedule, add classes, and access your student email. In addition, you can access your “To-Do” list which are items you need to complete (i.e. clearing holds, paying fees).
