Donation Tap Device (Tap and Go) The parish is introducing a contactless payment system for donations to the parish. One device has been placed in the entrance of Darra and Jindalee churches. This device is not meant to replace planned giving contributions made by electronic transfer. It is designed for those who would like to make a donation but don’t carry cash. Our parish has a lot of visitors, some of whom would like to make a donation. This device affords that opportunity at any time. There are many benefits to having a Donation Point Tap device in our parish: Contactless, reducing the spread of germs. Fully electronic, reducing the risk of theft. Easy to use: A fixed donation amount is set on each device. A larger amount can be donated using multiple taps. For example, if the set amount is $10, then a $30 donation requires three taps. Removes the barrier of “no spare change”. Eliminates the need to collect and count cash from collection baskets, reducing the workload on office staff. ST VINCENT DE PAUL - “BARNEY WALK BEQUEST” Using funds from a bequest from the estate of the late Barney Walk, our Parish Conference is able to assist at least two fami- lies with a child entering Year 7 in 2021.
