Midnight Communion with Abbey Girls’ and Men’s Choir 11.15pmBe there at the very start of Christmas. A celebration of Christ’s birth, and with him the birth of new hope for the world, led by the Rt Revd Peter Price, Bishop of Bath & Wells.

Holy Communion 8am A said service of Holy Communion, using traditional language.
Family Communion 9.15am Celebrate ‘God with us’ at this informal service, suitable for all ages. Music led by the Abbey Boys’ Choir.

VISITOR OPENING HOURSThe large number of special events and services taking place in November and December means that the Abbey will be closed to visitors at certain times. For details of opening hours please consult notice boards, website or the Abbey Office.
THE ABBEY SHOPThe Abbey Shop will maintain the usual opening hours even when the church is not accessible to visitors. Look out for extended shop times during the Christmas market.
FESTIVE TOWER TOURS Frequent 45 minute Christmas Market Tower Tours are available 24 Nov - 10 Dec (not Sundays).Tickets: Adult £6, Child (5-15 yrs) £3. Includes free mulled wine/hot drink at the top.

An Advent Procession by Candlelight Abbey Boys’, Girls’ and Men’s ChoirsSunday 27 Nov 6.30pm One of the most popular services of the Abbey’s year. Join us for a candlelit service with music and readings to mark the beginning of Advent.
Entrance is by (free) ticket only. Tickets are available from the Abbey Shop from Mon 7 Nov, and also on the door.
Family Carol Service Sunday 18 Dec 3pm and 4.30pmChildren are invited to come dressed as a shepherd, angel, wise man or citizen of Bethlehem to create a stunning Christmas tableau. Features Mr Frosty the donkey.
All welcome, no reserved seating so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

ADVENT SCULPTURE BY JANE SARGEANT
Tuesday 22 Nov to Friday 23 DecInspired by the Gilbert Scott Corona, Jane’s installation which hangs suspended mid-air in the centre of the crossing is intended to reflect some of the Abbey’s interior architecture and has an Advent theme of darkness turning into light.
